I've seen Dr. Turnbull for almost all four years during my undergraduate experience at Harvard, and I have to stay that she changed my life. She has been the most helpful, and warm, and trusted adult in my life during the entirety of college - far more so than any professors or advisors. I saw her in my most vulnerable time, and am grateful to say that I owe my current health to her. She is empathetic without making judgments, and validating while being rational. She lets me arrive at my peace by myself while guiding me with understanding, experience, and knowledge of healthy habits/ways to think. I would recommend her to anyone without reservations.

Dr. Turnbull has been the best therapist I've had. She has taught me how to appreciate life and has helped reduce my anxiety. I do not understand where the other comments are coming from. She is certainly a critical listener and her comments are always well-founded and honest. I have found that she is very rational in her judgement and her perspective has helped me loads in the past year. I would recommend her without any reservations at all.

I would not recommend Frances Turnbull to anyone. She is not a critical listener and is quick to make a judgement, and then dispense direct advice. She is also prone bully a patient if they choose not to follow that advice by instilling fear and anxiety and calling to her authority as a therapist with statements such as: "bad things will happen, I've done this job for many years and know that". More generally, she seems to have difficulty showing compassion and a worrying tendency to name call.

In my opinion, Frances Turnbull should be a patient not a provider! I advise all to steer clear. She is quick to judgement without checking facts.
