Dr. Cortas was very helpful to me. She had worked in Cleveland where my daughter works as a physician. I was intensive care for 10 days and she was there for me giving instructions on what neededto be done to save my life. Also, I have a pain pump and Dr. Cortas got me in to see Dr. Stearns , the pain pump specialist, Dr. Cortas tried very hard to instill in me that a positive attitude is so important to my well being and she kept telling me to fight hard and don't look at the negatives She also encouraged me to keep busy and have fun in my life.

Awful experience! The office staff were very kind and understanding. When I went back to the little waiting room, you could hear staff complaining and making comments about everyone. Sat in the room for 15 minutes, moved to a room, and then Dr. Cortas came in. She hadn't read over my file and I felt she didn't care about me, her patient. I would chose a different doctor if you want someone to truly care about you!

Your doctor is only as good as the staff that supports him/her. Im not very impressed with this facility, the treatment plan, or the lack of caring on their part of how I am feeling.

I have a very serious illness. The office was very helpful. The physician spent a long time with me explaining the disease and the treatment. She went into all the details. Answered all my and my family's questions. She gave us her personal number in case we had any questions or issues. She addressed my anxiety and tried to calm me down. Accompanied me to the exit and explained to staff what needs to be done. I can't find words to thank her and her staff.

The staff were helpful coming to the office and seemed happy place for what type it is. Guy who made appointment was helpful.Surprised so many patients come here for cancer and not in hospital which I was used too. Can hear doctors nurse complain how many more until it's lunch. (More being "us") heard doctors comments about fashion and complaint about her new phone before I even met her in the room. Unclear on when to come back. Tried to ask worker at exit but she put up her hand as she was on the phone. Again not impressed. No cAll made to me or my wife after. Will check out mayo

Everyone maintains a caring and positive attitude which makes it easier to face treatment and repeated appointments. The people at the front desk as well as the folks in the lab and infusion areas are professional and friendly. Dr. Cortas and Dr. Lucas were effective and quick to develop a plan for me, along with Dr. Raines, the ENT.

I had a pulmonary embolism and Dr. Cortas was on call so she became my hematologist. I then had to be on blood thinner for the next six months. I found Dr. Cortas to be caring, conscientious and competent. Her office was well run too, as I saw when I had to receive frequent blood checks. I recommend her highly
