Dr. Catenacci is a wonderful doctor that I highly recommend. She is very patient and trustworthy. She was always willing to answer all of my questions. We are forever grateful to her. She worked with us for about a year going at the pace that we felt most comfortable with. Eventually, we chose to do IVF with Dr. Catenacci and we are so thankful that we did because we now have a healthy 4 1/2 year old daughter and a healthy newborn son. I would definitely recommend this doctor.

Thanks to Dr. Catenacci, we're having a baby! She and her staff provided incredible care, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her even if I hadn't been able to conceive. I felt like she was always giving me the best possible change.

We had a great experience with Dr. Catenacci and the staff at the Gurnee office. This was our 2nd time going through fertility, but our first experience with this office. Fertility treatments are a stressful process, but they made it as smooth and Seamless as possible. Wonderful place to go if you’re struggling to start a family.

I would highly recommend Dr. Catenacci. I saw her for about a year and she was very patient with us. My nurse was Ashley and I absolutely loved working with her. I asked tons of questions and she took her time answering each and every one. It was nice that I was able to email her while at work instead of having to call. The nurses at the Gurnee office were also very friendly. I would highly recommend this doctor. We are now expecting our first child thanks to this amazing doctor and nurses.

AFCC is amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable and the nursing staff is amazing. The nurse, Kathy, is by far one of the best nurses I have ever encountered. She is so compassionate about the patient and fertility that it shows in everything she does. Dr. Catenacci is amazing as well. Her bed side manner is comforting and patient. She is the best. We are now expecting twins and are so grateful to this staff. I would highly recommended this practice to anyone struggling with infertility.

Dr. Sherbahn was my doc at AFCC, but Dr. Catenacci ended up doing both my retrieval and transfer. She was calming and thoughtful and I felt at ease for both procedures. She, like everyone at AFCC shows the utmost care for their patients.

We came to Dr. Catenacci and AFCC after 8 months at another larger clinic. We had had 4 IUIs without any luck. The doctor there said IVF was our only chance and even that was going to be a long shot. I was not comfortable with that clinic as it very much felt like a factory and therefore we opted to wait. We were about to give up but decided we should try another clinic and doctor before we did that. As a recommendation from my OB/Gyne we went to AFCC and Dr. Catenacci. She looked at my case and agreed that my odds weren't great but it was worth trying. We did 2 rounds of IUI unsuccessfully and then we decided we would give IVF one try. The staff at AFCC, especially Sue and Cathy, made the process so much more bearable. They answered questions and were reassuring even in the toughest times. During my IVF cycle I only grew three eggs. Their protocol is to cancel IVF if there are not a certain number/size of eggs but Dr. Catenacci gave me the option to proceed. We chose to proceed. We had two eggs retrieved and one fertilized. It was transferred on day 3 and now my beautiful, healthy, daughter is asleep next to me as I type this. I am grateful to Dr. Catenacci and her team, not only for helping me create my family, but also for treating me as a person and not just based on my numbers and probabilities.

I am not sure why the other reviewers found experience with Dr. Catenacci so different from what we felt. She was definitely prepped with all our details for our first appointment. We had more interactions with Ashley the nurse at their Crystal Lake office and she was very considerate through out the process.

Dr. Catenacci was also very friendly with us during the times we saw her.

We are now pregnant thanks to the folks at AFCC.
