Biography
Scott L. Gross MD, FAAFP, is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians who offers compassionate and ethical care. Dr. Gross is the Chair of Family Medicine at Huntington Hospital and Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell while teaching 4th year Family Medicine elective. Dr. Gross graduated from Stony Brook University School of Medicine of the State University of NY and received his undergraduate degree from Binghamton University of the State University of NY.Dr. Gross has been a family physician for over 31 years and serves as an Eastern Region representative to the Northwell Health Physicians Partners Board of Governors. Dr. Gross has been an active teacher of clinical family medicine for over 23 years and continues to see patients at his practice and admit patients from the community into the hospital. Dr. Gross offers the full spectrum of Family Medicine services from Newborns to Geriatrics and performs school and employment physicals, pediatric, medical, psychiatric, dermatologic, and infectious conditions. Dr. Gross has a particular interest in travel medicine, frequently lectures, and has published on the subject. Dr. Gross is certified by the CDC to provide a full spectrum of travel immunizations.
