Attended sessions with my husband to help with the problems in our marriage.
Gave lots of helpful tips and book suggestions.
But honestly I needed marriage counseling because of bullying from my husband. That was the main issue. Only to receive it from the Dr as well.
I'm glad my son only had one session with her.
Be careful who you seek help from....

Dr. Occhipinti is beyond helpful. She has helped me to develop habits that I can use for the rest of my life. She has been an amazing support and help for me to make major changes in my life. I have been going for many years and am so grateful that she is always there for me.

she was helpful until she wasn't. broke my trust in a huge way. she said she would be willing to see me again in time of need...really? not ever happening since she failed miserably. and I wasn't a new client...she had seen me for years.

Our family is wounded beyond repair. Of course, Dr. Occhipinti is not to blame for that, but she made a bad situation so much worse.

Dr. Occhipinti is an excellent therapist. I have used her services on different occasions in the past 20 years. She is always helpful and insightful. She leaves you with the tools you need to deal with things on your own.

Dr. Occhipinti is not only an amazing therapist, but also an incredible human being. When I thought that no one would be able to help me, she provided the patience, kindness, and empathy that I needed. When I found out I was moving out of state, she regularly fit in extra sessions despite her busy schedule. Most importantly, she gave me the tools I needed, as an individual, to deal with the overwhelming emotional and family issues I was facing. Moreover, when I was experiencing difficulties which I needed to address with her, she was extremely open and together we could always work through it. She is also very knowledgeable in suggesting additional help and coping mechanisms outside of therapy, and these are activities I hope to partake in for the rest of my life. Thanks to her help, I have for reconnected with myself and know that no matter what trouble I have in the future, I can deal with it and be okay. Thank you Brenda!!!

Dr. Occhipinti is an amazing individual. Her approach to better mental health is so "real" and non-sterile. You leave her office knowing she is truly concerned for your well-being and that she wants to assist you in finding, developing and maintaining your mental health and healing. She is compassionate and a woman of strong values which aid her in her approach to healing. She has the ability to lift and inspire and give hope and help you "see" your own strengths and abilities to overcome what might seem like an impossible challenge...I know... she has offered all this to me through our visits and I have not only survived my "storm" but am now enjoying a life FULL of joy, peace and happiness and eagerly look forward to each new day!
