Dr. Davis is a highly knowledgeable and skills urologist. He has a pleasant and approachable demeanor. Bottom line, he resolved my issues in a matter of 2 months when others were unable over the course of years. Words cannot fully express my gratitude. He is truly an valuable asset to the community.

Review for Dr. Jeremy A. Davis

Dr. Jeremy A. Davis is my very highly skilled Urologist. Dr. Davis is my extraordinarily brilliant kidney surgeon. I am a 73 year old woman who had a very scary huge kidney stone, about 25 mm (one inch in diameter!). It had to go! Dr. Davis explained the three ways to remove it: standard lithotripsy (ESWL), ureteroscopy, or PCNL (direct lithotripsy). He did not try to persuade me which way to go. I chose PCNL as it would entail only one trip to surgery and one anesthesia. I told him that I have problems with anesthesia. He reassured me that at Mercy hospital they have a wonderful anesthesia team for me headed by Dr. Scott Maxwell, which I soon found out was indeed the case. The day before my kidney stone surgery a tube was placed in my back into my kidney in preparation for Dr. Davis’ surgery. This was a very difficult job for Dr. Bryan Van Zandt because the enormous kidney stone had blocked my kidney so completely that it had distorted it. But he did not give up because I could not have the PCNL without these “wires” in place. And he succeeded!

Dr. Davis performed my PCNL surgery bright and early the next morning. He said it was a very hard stone and was difficult to blast through with his small lithotripsy tool. He also removed several smaller kidney stones that would have been very painful to pass in the future. When I got back to my hospital room, Dr. Davis had an entire panel worked up for me for my care. It was meticulous and very well planned, even down to a tiny probiotic pill! I am diabetic and my diabetes was so carefully monitored and controlled by Dr. Davis.

Dr. Davis even ordered a late evening CT scan at 9 pm to further check if all the stones were indeed gone. So I and my bed went flying around the hospital when nobody else was there for my late CT scan! Because Dr. Davis successfully removed all the kidney stones and fragments, I was allowed to go home next day after surgery. I am healing very fast and had to take only one pain pill. He did such a big job in such a minimally invasive fashion. Dr. Davis is a super star whom I predict will go on to win accolades and awards for his great abilities and dedication to his patients. I was so lucky to have Dr. Jeremy Davis save my kidney and I am sure, my life.

Dr. Davis and all the staff at Mercy Hospital could not have shown more compassion and concern for my well-being. I am grateful to everyone there!

Dr. Jeremy Davis is one of the finest doctors that I have used over the years. I am 57 years old. He performed a spermatocele operation. It was performed on June 5, 2013. It has been almost three months since the surgery and I am so pleased with the outcome. The testicle that was affected is exactly the same size as the other testicle. You would never know that a surgery was performed. The stitches healed perfectly. The testicles function. The right testicle was approximately 5 times larger than the left testicle with the spermatocele before the operation. After the operation I am back to a normal size with no complications. Dr. Davis may be a young surgeon but he is definitely a quality doctor that I would highly recommend to anyone.
