    Completely misdiagnosed a very serious illness--a life-threatening one. Then wouldn't admit that he was wrong. Has a temper and insults you for no apparent reason--then he apologizes. Never know what mood he'll be in. A rather unhinged individual. Avoid.

    Biography

    Dr. Eric Shay went into medicine because he felt it was his calling. He explored a variety of specialties and found internal medicine to be the most meaningful and rewarding.Dr. Shay enjoys coming to work every day because of the people he works with. Earning his patients trust and interacting with them in a meaningful way is important to him. Dr. Shay wants to help[ his patients take control of their health. He works with all patients, from routine visits to infections and diseases. In his free time, Dr. Shay enjoys exercising, reading and spending time with his family.“My goal in practicing medicine is to educate and work with patients to help them take control of their health. In addition, I have experienced how difficult it can be interacting with and navigating through the (sometimes impersonal) medical system. I place a high priority in helping patients achieve this in their time of need.”
