Personal and personable, Dr. Ortiz listens and explains things clearly and follows up on tests and appointments. I have a high degree of confidence in his judgement. A good doctor!

My family has been patients of Dr. Ortiz for many years. He is FANTASTIC. He will spend as much time as possible with you to answer ALL your questions. He is knowledgeble, but knows that he is not an expert in all areas. He is not afraid to send you to a specialist if there are any concerns that he is unsure about. He does NOT have a God complex and pretend to know all. I would recommend him to anyone.

We have ALWAYS been exceptionally happy with Dr. L.G. Ortiz!!! He is the primary physician for three of us in the family and has been for the last 6 years! He is thorough and takes the time to answer questions and keep us informed! He explains the "why's" and "wherefore's" and is extremely patient and kind!!! He always returns calls and is GREAT to work with! I HIGHLY recommend him!!!

Dr. Ortiz has been my doctor for around five years. He is VERY thorough during physicials and takes extra time to order tests to rule out anything suspect. He is very gentle and caring and has a great bedside manner. I am in the medical field, my husband and mother are also his patients and he treats very appropriately

He acts afraid to order tests and avoids any kind of problem in which he does not have a definite answer. He missed a cancer on my shoulder after I pointed it out to him. A dermotolgist found it.

Does not return calls if you have a problem. Sends patients to ER rather than take time to see them (ie. recurring urinary tract infection sent 90 year old woman to ER for urine culture). Prescribed daily asprin for my 90 year old aunt, she immediatly became very ill. After many attempts to reach him, he rudely informed me it had nothing to do with him it was her pacemaker & to contact cardiologist. Heart Dr. said Ortiz should have known better. She had internal bleeding from the prescribed asprin.
