I have the utmost respect for Dr. David Tilley. He is very well prepared when I arrive for an appointment. Dr. Tilley is knowledgable,professional & well versed in health care knowledge. I truly owe my life to this wonderful & compassionate doctor.

I've been going to David Tilley for about 18 years. Always helpful, always friendly. My only complaint is the elevator in the building he works in needs to be replaced! Other than that, the man is a saint. Thanks David for being my Dr. and friend.

Dr. Tiley has been my physician for over 20 years and seen me through many issues. He is knowledgeable, patient and caring. I have referred many friends to him and all the comments I have received have been positive. Dr. Tiley cares about your health and is very thorough about providing you the best care available. I realize that there may be some patients who are not happy with him (judging by some of the coments below) but the reality is that there are some people who go to the doctor and expect miracle health care. They do not want to take any responsibility for their health and are quick to blame their physician for any issues. Dr. Tiley is a partner in your health and works diligently to provide you with the best care and best resources. I have never had him ignore or belittle any health concern of mine.

I have known Doctor Tilley for more years than I care to admit! Frankly he is personable, caring and does a darn good job. I have been in the waiting room and watched some of his patients treat him and his staff like dirt. Entitled, self indulgent and arrogant are the words that come to mind. Dr. Tilley has always been there for me, and I know for many patients who are HIV positive he is there for them too. Way back when, at time when we didn’t know what HIV was, he was there treating the sick and dying, doing house calls when no one else would go near these people. He was there when it was difficult to find a funeral home to take a body away, or hospital staff would leave patient’s food outside their rooms fearing the unknown. I consider myself very lucky to have him as a doc.

Dr. Tilley is an average physician. Like most conventional doctors, his eyes glaze over if you discuss diet or supplements or any alternative treatment. On the plus side though, he's organized when it comes to your medical file, lab tests, screenings and referrals to specialists. He's also a calm and likeable individual, and though he seems to spend an inordinate amount of time looking at his computer screen during visits, I believe that he's a caring and fairly competent physician.

It's very simple, I trust Dr. David Tilley with my life. I have been a patient and friend of David's for almost 20 years now. I wouldn't want to see anyone else. David always has a way to lift my spirits if I'm feeling down and he has a strong interest in my well-being. One thing stands out for me more than anything else. When I was diagnosed with HIV many years ago, David anticipated that this news would be very difficult for me. He made my appointment the moment that he got my results in and made sure to see me as the last appointment of the day. He closed the office to anyone else, including the staff and allowed me to express the emotions that he knew would take me. David showed care that reminded me that I was being well looked after and I have never had cause to doubt or question him. I feel safe in his care.

Extremely disappointed with level of care received with Dr. Tilley. - he sits behind his desk and slowly types for about 14 minutes and then tells you your 15 min is up and he'll address your other concerns in three months when you can get your next appt to come back. - does not so much as take your weight, bp, listen to your lungs...NOTHING!. - tried to change to a different doctor in the building and Dr Tilley BLOCKED it because they have a no patient transfer policy withing the physicians. - a good amount of the cities best HIV doctors are located in the Maple Leaf Clinic building and he REFUSED to let my file be transferred there knowing that I was unhappy with the care I was getting from him. - he will not authorize prescription renewals on meds that I have been on for ten years without first coming in to see him everytime. Its impossible to get quick appts so several times I have run out of my meds because of his unwillingness to be flexible.- My list is too long for this guy.

I have been a patient with Dr Tilley for 15 years and have always been pleased with his care, though I had never had a serious illness prior, this changed a couple months ago when I developed a heart condition, Dr Tlleys care and consideration has been amazing, he has gone above and beyond in my care and seeing me through this situation both mentally and physically, I no longer take Dr Tilley for granted, within this short time he made sure I got to see specialists quickly and followed up on everything that happened to me, I will be forever grateful to Dr Tilley for helping me through this very difficult time.
