Dr. Baig is the reason I had to have my kidney removed by a DIFFERENT surgeon. I’d like to emphasize that this was in 2013 I had my initial surgery by him. He sewed my outside together beautifully, but my inside was wrecked. After pulling the stint I went septic because my ureter was not completely sewn shut. I was leaking urine and bacteria into my body and had to have emergency surgery. From there I got the run around with several stints, dilations, and other invasive procedures. After my pain came back I returned to Dr. Baig, only for him to suggest I get the same surgery he had already preformed. He didn’t even look at my chart or remember that he had already done that surgery. That is when I asked for a referral to a different urologist. I then went and saw Dr. Sharp at the James cancer research hospital and wexner medical center in Columbus where he did try to save my kidney, but due to the MASS of scar tissues created from the 12 dilations, scopes, and stents my kidney ultimately needed removed.

Hopefully he is a better surgeon and urologist now, and doesn’t send 17 year old girls into life altering surgery just to botch it.

It took me a long time to be comfortable with my body again and to be comfortable talking about how traumatic going through all of that was. It may not seem like a big deal to some, but I was a young girl who had no life experience or medical knowledge. Had I known to do more research at the time, I’d have skipped Dr. Baig and gone straight to Dr. Sharp.

Again, this was years ago, but I suffered for 5 years before I was able to find relief and that was because my kidney had to be completely removed at the age of 21.

Do not waste your time with this Doctor. He is Dr Suttons replacement apparently. He did a terrible job. He did even look at problem. Just stuck his nose in computer the whole time and wrote out prescription. Never going back.

I give 5 stars to Dr. Baig, but one star to his staff that are unfriendly and at times rude. Just got back from a nurse visit and had to listen to them all stand in a circle complaining and ****ing about their jobs etc. (Doctor was not in). Seems the tail is wagging the dog around there.
