I still don’t understand how you can be in law enforcement for 5 plus years and get failed by this guy just because. It’s not right how he operates and is literally ruining people’s careers. I actually went to appeal his failed reading and passed with flying colors from another psychiatrist to over ride his failed test. He needs to be out of business and stop ruining careers, there are top candidates out here who’s careers are tainted from this man.

I too retired with 25 years and I was failed by this man for "anxitety". Mind you Inever had one internal affairs compalint, no discipline, and was a Dare Instructor for 20 years but I'n not qualified per him. Seems like he fails more that he passes with the same test I took 26 years ago.

I am a former active duty Marine & recently retired from law enforcement with an extensive amount of training & experience in active shooter & firearms training. I was offered a position for a class 3 position pending evaluation. I took an outdated bias test then spoke to the Doctor for about 20 minutes. I took this test 25 years ago & passed without any issues, Needless to say I didn’t get a good feeling about this Doctor. I then received a call from the department that conditionally hired me & was told that the offer was pulled off of the table because of the evaluation that the Doctor gave me. I was told that he would recommend me to be a Police Officer but the transition from active law enforcement and a Special 3 would not be a good transition for me. This test is biased and his evaluation inconclusive , how can he make that determination after only 20 minutes. The responsibility & duties that were required of me as a Special 3 Officer is what I was already doing as an active Police Officer for 25 years.

I served 23 years as a police officer and acquired the rank of Sargent,I served 4 years in the USMC and ended with rank of Corporal, ending my service in Desert Shield. I was promised a job with a municipal PD for a class 3 assignment working in a school. One hour with this character and I was disqualified due to my Marine Corps service, he told my potential employer I was too strict to be a class 3 but he would have approved me for full time LEO. When I attempted to call him, his receptionist told me that the doctor was done with me and then hung up on me. This guy gets 500 dollars a person for this racket, do the math.

Was sent to this quack for a FFD after a call that I made to NJSP. The department then sent me to him and his staff acts like they are high and mighty, rude and nasty. Then the doctor comes in and after using outdated testing determines that you are an alcoholic. Then I was sent to him again for a FFD and failed. I know that I was sent as punishment for knowing misconduct was happening and the department covered it up. He has done this to other officers. He fails to interview the spouses and other officers still get screwed. How he is noted as the top psychiatrist in the region is amazing. He must be related to the reviewer.

I fully agree. I was screwed by him big time, and now I have no chance of overcoming his evaluation. I was told by a particular department that used both him and Dr. Guller, that they actually stopped using Dr. Guller because he was not cooperative enough. I wonder what that implies.
