When I found out that I had prostrate cancer, I asked an out-of-town friend what I needed to do. His advice was concise: use a hospital that had a cancer presence; use a urologist qualified in oncology too; and find a surgeon who had done the robotic surgery 500+ times. He also told me that Dr. Mirza was the obvious choice -- and "would let him operate on me." It was a great choice. Before the surgery, Dr. Mirza was a great mix of truthful -- but encouraging and compassionate. My 3-4 hour surgery stretched to 7, but I came through fine. I am cancer-free for now. Since surgery, Dr. Mirza and his staff were fantastic. I feel very thankful about my choice.

Best Dr. around wouldn't trade him at all. He's knowledgeable, and very compassionate.

At present time he has performed 8 surgeries on my bladder. Excellent doctor! Treates patient and her family like his own. I highly recommend him! Cancer remains in remission for almost 2 years.
