Have been seeing Dr. Motes for about ten years. I find her very intelligent and dedicated to getting the right prescription for you. Her office is lovely and well equipped including a machine that can photograph the inside of your eyeball so you don't have to have dilation. Love that! I have diabetes and I trust her to keep my eyesight safe. I will never switch optometrists.

I went in twice because the lenses given to me was not working. Now I must go in a third time. The Dr seemed distracted both times. The exam was long both times and the Dr. kept getting things wrong. Asking me several times if I said something that I didn't regarding my current contacts. Once I could understand, but not twice, and not within minutes of talking to me leaving the room and coming back and asking again. I hope these last lenses will work, but this Dr. is definitely having mental distraction issues, and I will not go back. Also they charged more than quoted on the phone, but the main concern is her lack of focus and ability to provide a diagnosis. Never have had this issue before in the many years and different doctors.

Experience with the staff is horrible and they continue to work there. They could care less if you had a good or bad experience. They don't greet me when I come in. Dr. Motes is good but the staff keeps others from coming back.

My wife and I have come to Dr. Motes for several years. She and her staff have ALWAYS been very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She is always caring and never pressures to make purchases. We would highly recommend her practice.

I love coming to this place, I've been coming for over ten years. Their staff is very knowledgeable. They have a huge selection of fames to choose from and are very educated on lens products. From the exam to the end, everything is so easy and quick. I've had several insurance companies to deal with over the years and they always know exactly how to handle the insurances. They've even told me of extra benefits that I didn't even know I had. My glasses and contacts always come in quickly and I never have to call and check up on anything. They keep me posted every step of the way and educated me on how things works. I recommend family and friends all the time and everyone loves coming here, it's almost like once you are here, you are family. They seem to always know everyones name and you feel very welcomed.

Extremly rude front staff. They act like you are an incovinience not a customer.Waited over 3 weekd for ordered contacts because noone ever called to let me know they were in. Dr. Motes bedside manner is horrible.... She comes across as if she is working with a computer not a person. Office visit was a bit chilly... We have topnotch insurance but i felt the staff did not offer all benefits... Think thiscwill be my last visit.

Ok Dr. Office staff is very rude. You have to be the one to initate the call when your glasses or contacts are ready because they "forgot". Been a patient for several years. Think is time to give my buisness to an office that wants it.

I would not recommend Dr. Motes. She had poor bedside manner every time I saw her. Two other individuals I know who have experienced her have said the exact same thing. I did not feel very comfortable at all in her office. Not a very warm atmosphere. I feel that her staff is not very knowledgable and I did not trust them to figure out my extremely simple insurance. They could never get it correct. Dr. Motes scared me into thinking I had a serious condition because she couldn't get me to see correctly. She kept having me come back for follow-up visits. I have since switched to an amazing eye doctor with an exceptional personality and many years of experience who has diagnosed me with very healthy eyes. Maybe a few more years of experience would help this one.
