My 2nd son was circumcised by Dr. Lane (who came highly recommended) a few years ago. I would never recommend her to anyone - not only was her bedisde manner lacking, she did a awful job. After numerous dr's visits and aims to improve the result we were referred to a urologist who said our only option is to undergo sugergy with general anaesthic (similar to another reviewers situation) to achieve the desired result. Again, echoing the previous comment....she never owned up to any wrong doing and the urologist said it appeared she had used a technic that resulted in what he referred to as a "german" circumcision - where less foreskin than normal is removed. It makes me livid even thinking about it - she should've consulted us before the procedure began if she intended on using a different technique. My two boys look completely different "down there"....wish I had gone back to the dr. who performed my older sons circumcision.

I had my newborn son circumcised by Dr. Lane at 19 days old and was impressed with her at the time. As his circumcision healed I could see that something wasn't quite right. She had explained the odds and I knew there was a small chance a further procedure could be required. When I took him back a few months later for her to check it, she said the problem was that it had not healed correctly, and that I had not pushed back the skin around the head of his penis enough. She reopened the wound with her hands, pulling his skin apart, which seemed barbaric to me, and she wasn't even wearing gloves. She told me to pull it back twice a day for the next week and that it should heal correctly. I followed her directions, and sure enough, it "healed incorrectly" again. Today my son saw a pediatric urologist and is scheduled for a revision under general anaesthetic. It was a botched circumcision, and I am furious that Dr. Lane didn't own up to it when I brought it to her attention.

Dr. Lane performed our sons circumcision and did an amazing job! We were provided with the pros & cons of the procedure to ensure we made an informed decision. She was very caring and had a great sense of humor which helped put us at ease. We were to apply a topical cream before coming to have the procedure done, my son did not feel the needles and slept through the whole thing! Another thing I appreciated, rather than my son being strapped down on a board (as I heard was the common thing to do) they swaddled him in a blanket like a straight jacket and a nurse held his legs. I would highly recommend her for circumcisions!

It's hard to imagine that anyone could be better than Dr. Lane. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, un-flappable, determined, competent and utterly trustworthy. Relax, you are in good hands!

Dr. Lane delivered all 3 of my children in the 1990's - they are all teenagers now. I had to be induced for my first baby and I am still thankful to this day that she was there to deliver my next 2 because she knew my history. She was always friendly and knowledgeable during all of my visits with her.

She is a doctor I so recommend, she is so caring and makes you feel safe and secure. she was my doctor for all three kids. No question ever was a stupid one, she always gave her undivided attention no matter how busy she got

Almost 22 years ago, Dr. Lane delivered my only child, a daughter, and I was lucky enough to have her as my family physician for several years afterward, until she left to concentrate on low-risk maternity cases. She's absolutely wonderful, caring and relaxed, with a disarmingly wacky sense of humour. Thank you, Dr. Lane! You're the best.

What can you say about Dr. Lane? I have nothing but good. I saw her through 4 pregnancies. The first ending in a stillbirth, 2 somewhat normal pregnancies and part of my twins pregnancies. I could always call her when I was scared, nervous. She was always patient and kind and always had a hug ready when I needed it. No other doctor will ever be as special to me as she is.

I love this doc. My sisters have had her for most of their deliveries and she is just so friendly. She never rushes when you have questions. Last pregnancy I had to go to high rish and when I got to see Dr Lane I was so excited becuase she is just so much better then they were. I would recommed her clinic to any one.

I met her at the low maternity risk clinic. The two times I met her I felt her friendly and willing to help me with the questions I had.
