He reminded me exactly of Richard Dreyfuss in What About Bob in his role as a psychiatrist arrogant rude and when his office door is closed and he thinks you can't hear he calls Republicans and conservatives troglodytes and Neanderthals he is so ignorant he thinks fascism is right wing when even a neanderthal knows that fascism was a political party invented by Gentilly in 1928 and adopted by muscle leaning everything inside the state nothing outside the state but I'm the stupid one it is my opinion this man is so politically biased he cannot function in a free Society

I saw Dr. Trontel a few years ago for an evaluation by recommendation of a family member. He was very kind. After the initial evaluation, it took him a few weeks to figure out what my issues were because he wasn't even sure what it was. At the second appointment, not once did he say what was wrong with me other than the fact that I was a "worry-wort" and a bit depressed and suggested I get put on medication to control the depression and anxiety and get help with vocational rehab because of a visual-spatial disorder that I had (which is not the diagnosis that I see on my paperwork). Other than that, kind man but was not forthright in telling me or my family what my problems were.

This appt. was a waste of time. After reading his summery of the visit - he got a lot of the details of the visit all wrong. He seemed to want to place blame instead of focusing on the problem. I read the other comments - they must have been made up and written by Trontel himself. I can't imagine anyone being helped. P.S. Taking calls on your cell phone during a consultation is very unprofessional.

I completely agree with the former comment. Before I saw the doc I'd gone to a buttload of psychs lookin' fer help. None could do a thing for me. I had fantasies of racing steamboats in the Seine and being a gondola captain in the Adriatic, and I also told people I used to race Maseraties in San Diego with--guess who?--Alfieri Maserati! Anyhow, Doc Tront, which is what I call him weaned me from my fantasies, and I am well now. You may know me, I am the guy who used to stand on street corners chuckling to himself and saying clever nothings. Doc Tront taught me to buy a little non-working cellphone and stand on street corners talking to it, pretending I was giving my broker an order to buy Microsoft futures. Now all is well, people smile and walk on, while I chuckle to myself knowingly. I love Doc Tront, he be de bestest. I certify these are my own remarks and Doc Tront is not standing next to me with a long stick. Yours truly, Napoleon Bonappetito

Let me tell you how good Dr. Trontel is at what he does! Before Dr. Trontel, I went to a lot of different psychologists, counselors, social workers, and psychiatrists and no one knew how to help me and my child. One of these referred me to Dr. Trontel for what I was told would be a 2 hour psychological test to determine the source of the problem my child was having. But in only 15 minutes he called me in & told what the problem was. Although I wasn't sure at first, it turned out he was right. Dr. Trontel has since became my doctor & has helped me through another child being killed by a **** driver, and after that, the break-up of my marriage. Dr. Trontel has continued to help me learn how to better respond to things so that I stand a better chance of not hitting every rock on life's highway. I wish he would never retire because I don't think I'll find another psychologist or counselor as good as he is.
