Dr. Johnston-MacAnanny at Shady Grove was amazing! She really listened to my specific wants, needs and concerns. She was so warm and personable, she made the process of fertility treatments so smooth and easy. The nurses there were so helpful with their answers and recommendations. I had a lot of questions through this process and they had so much patience with me. I had a miscarriage and I felt like Dr. Johnston-MacAnanny really handled my worries and wants with care. After two treatments, she helped me get pregnant!! I could not recommend her more! I wish all my friends could have Dr. Johnston-MacAnanny on their fertility journey!! She’s a blessing to so many women like me!

Dr. Johnston truly is amazing. She always takes the time to listen and build a relationship. I never feel like I am rushed during appointments. My husband and I have really enjoyed having her as our doctor. Extremely knowledgeable as well!

Dr. Johnston is extremely knowledgeable. She worked to get all of the data needed to come up with a course of action, and clearly explained everything to us. After two rounds of treatment, I found out I was pregnant. We will be returning in the future. She is a miracle worker!

Our experience with Dr. Johnston was everything we could have hoped for as we navigated infertility and, ultimately, IVF. My husband and I found Dr. Johnston to be compassionate and relatable, but also straightforward and transparent in explaining our options and helping us to create a plan for treatment, one that was both as practical and realistic as possible, while also maximizing our chances for success. Not only Shady Grove, but Dr. Johnston-MacAnanny specifically, completely changed our lives as we are now 27 weeks pregnant! The whole process of going to a fertility clinic after years of difficult days trying to conceive was overwhelming and scary until our first appointment. From the first consult and through the whole process, we felt supported, cared for, and like Dr. Johnston-MacAnanny was truly in our corner. She is patient with questions and concerns and was also a comic relief during certain topics which we loved since joking always makes hard situations feel a little easier! I can't recommend her enough if you are going to Shady Grove and if we decide to try for a 2nd child, we will be calling her!

Dr. Johnston is a phenomenal doctor and also a caring human being. I felt very looked after under her care and she listened to all my concerns and helped me to navigate a challenging fertility experience. Leading with extensive experience and knowledge but also sharing in the downs and eventually ups of my journey. I never felt alone in this process with Dr. Johnston at SGF and that is something all doctors should strive for when caring for their patients.

I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone seeking fertility treatment to Dr. Johnston - no need to look anywhere else in town.
