I agree 100% with the comments above that she couldn't be more disinterested in what you have to say. You know you are in trouble when you ask her about a possible treatment and her response is "yeah, well we could try that"! I'm stuck with her because I have to use Memorial Hospital due to my insurance. I heard the other neurologist there talking to a patient in such an arrogant and condescending manner, it would be a cold day down under before I'd see him, and he's the head doctor. In all fairness, there is another doctor who is foreign who practices there, and who is supposed to be a lot better. I don't know. I have a hearing loss and the last thing I need is another doctor I can't understand.

My experience with Dr. Grow was a good one. She diagnosed me correctly with degenerative disc disease and pretty much set me up with everything I needed to get through the flare-up. I have no complaints. Her office has always responded to my calls in a timely manner and she answered all of my questions with no problems. Getting a diagnostic MRI was another story though - beware of the vultures downstairs in the finance department. They had no connection with her office, but the lady I saw had no compassion and was very condescending. Unfortunately, you may have to deal with them in order to get diagnostic services.

I have only seen her one time. She cannot wait to get out of the room. She does not care to hear what you have to say. Her nurse did not impress me. I will post after I see her again.

The doctor has her hand on the door the entire time she is talking to you. I thought since she is in a wheel chair & a person with a neuro problem she would take time to examine you and have a good bedside manner. Nope! It takes forever to get seen and she sees you in 5 to 7 minutes.. She hates for you to ask questions. Her nurse does not return calls. Beware...
