After seeing Dr. Anderson for ten years and thinking she was great, she and her incompetent staff cost me my job and then abandoned me as a patient.
I have spinal stenosis and degenerative disk disorder and needed a letter for my employer because after suffering with this for two years after the initial MRI and diagnosis I needed to alter my work requirements. Dr. Anderson's Nurse Practitioner saw me every month and put me off and put me off and when I finally saw Dr. Anderson again she acted like I was making up the diagnosis. She even told me to get an MRI from my neurologist's partner in the same practice!! This made zero sense. I went back to my regular neurologist and asked her to repeat the MRI and do an EMG. My neuro was baffled by Dr. Anderson's request but did it and of course, same diagnosis. I could see that Dr. A was shocked when she read the diagnosis and the line that said, "No change since... (prior test). It turned out that her staff had told Dr. Anderson that there was no MRI in my file and I was malingering and self-diagnosing. Why she believed them and never asked me for a copy of the original diagnosis, I will never know.
But it was too late. I lost my job. And I could not afford the COBRA cost so I had to change insurance companies. That's when Dr. Anderson abandoned me on as a patient: now I had the wrong insurance. She and her clown car of idiots nearly destroyed my life.
It turned
