My children were patients of Dr. Scantlebury for years so it seem natural for my grandchildren to be seen by her as well. We even followed her to her private practice. Recently there was a problem with my grandchild's insurance that we were not aware of. Although I was very please with Dr. Scantlebury, her reception/front desk which happens to be her mother is another story. I will not go into details, but to cover her errors she will lie on you. So who do you think the doctor will believe? Great doctor, but stay on top of your insurance and paperwork.

Dr. Scantlebury is an amazing pediatrician. She is great with her patients and their parents I don't feel like my child is just a number on a chart. My family feels welcome and I feel confident in the advice she gives me. My OB recommended her when I gave birth to my second child and I am so happy my older child will begin seeing her as well because her practice is just a bit more accomedating than her current doctor. I love that she calls you if she's running late and she understands that my time is as valuable as hers.

I love Dr. Scantlebury, she care about her patients. I am so sorry that my children no longer has her as a doctor because she is no longer at Manhattan Physician at 95st in Manhattan. No one there will tell any of the patients where she relocated. I wish I knew because I would transfer my children there.
