Dr. Browning is exceptional. She throughly spends time during the first session listening to the problem. Subsequent sessions are spent step by step, working on solving the problem. Rather than ask questions like, "How does that make you feel? "What could you do differently?" as I envisioned a therapist asking, she gives sound advice, provides a deeper understanding by accurately reflecting what you're talking about and encouraging you to gather information by assigning targeted homework. I was hesitant to go to counseling because I didn't want to be told to journal incessantly or be asked too many questions and not actually given good advice. Dr. Browning doesn't just sit back and let you vent and ask questions. She listens and gives great advice, as well. I am extremely happy with her and would recommend her to any of my friends.
