I only went to Dr. Krull 3 times and the last time I went in was my last. She was rude and looked like she was unhappy to be there. I don't care how much you know about your professional nobody wants to be treated like that.

I won't go into the long story, short story is that because of my family history she wanted to put me on meds. She was rude, uncarring and nasty. She is knowlegable and if I had a serious illness she could only treat that would be the only reason I would go back to her. If you watch TV she reminds me of HOUSE...but it is not funny because these are real people and their lives we are talking about. The staff laughed when I called to change doctors, said I wasn't the first. I filled out a survey and sent it to Piedmont, they must not read them because she is still there.

She seemed to know a lot about the issue I was having, and went above and beyond to get some blood work done to make sure everything else was looking good.

Dr. Krull has been my doctor for the last two years, and I'm very impressed with her. She is a thorough professional and she provides great, knowledgeable care--I would say that those factors are what count most in a doctor. I think someone judging a doctor on his or her personality should think about this before writing negative remarks about her, as it is, after all, knowledge and expertise that will save a patient, and not a smile.

I agree with the general comments that Dr Krull is not an outgoing or personable Dr but she has been very good at explaining things to me and I feel that she is careful and thorough. I would rather have a doctor that takes time to listen that one that just likes to talk. Thankfully I don't have any serious medical conditions so I am only able to comment on her as a general physician.

While Dr. Krull may not be the most effervescent personality I've ever encountered, I find her to be a tremendously thorough and competent physician. Every time I visit her I feel she leaves no stone unturned and is always willing to answer questions and help me feel at ease with her diagnosis. The more I visit her, actually, the more I find her stoicism and rationality extremely comforting. Her calm demeanor helps me to calm down.

I recently switched my primary care physician after visiting Dr. Barbara Krull for 5 years. My stomach and other conditions were not getting better. She referred me to a Gastroenterologist she highly recommended. After a few tests, this Gastroenterologist referred me back to her for a specific test that would take approx. 2 hours - just to make 100% sure I'm not diabetic. As requested, I went back to see Dr. Krull for this test. Regardless of his recommendation, she did another blood test which takes less than 5 minutes. This is the same test she's done every time I visted her. Dr. Krull didn't take the time for the recommended procedure. She kept giving me prescriptions that were not making me feel better. After getting a referral to another primary care physician from my close friend's mother (who's watched me continue to suffer more and more over the years), I'm starting to get the help I've really needed. My new dr's bedside manner and knowledge is a blessing.

I went to Dr. Krull for a bladder infection, and though her staff was very nice and helpful, the nurse who filled out my paperwork was OTL (out to lunch). There were several missing components before Dr. Krull came into the room (which I did hear the good doctor reprimand the nurse for) but overall I was impressed with Dr. Krull. She may not be Miss Southern Belle, but I'll definitely go back to her.

As successful as she may be in medicine, she horribly fails in bed side manner. The most monotone, non-sympathetic and cold doctor I have ever seen. I can't recommend her to anyone. She actually went on this long lecture when I asked her if there is anything she might be missing, perhaps we could try a different approach. She asked me in the rudest tone "what did I want her to do?" To question her is to insult her. She seemed like she had this large chip on her shoulder. Most importantly she has a difficult time distinguishing professionalism from arrogance.

I have been to Dr. Krull twice. The first was for a physical, in which I was lectured about my family history of diabetes, even though I, myself, am not diabetic. When I told her about my holistic practices, she made a face and was extremely condescending. I still went back a second time for a sinus infection, and when I told her about a bump a had developed behind my ear, she looked at me like I was making it up, and showed absolutely no concern. At the second appt. I received another lecture on my family history of diabetes. Terrible bedside manner!!
