Visited several a dozen times. While friendly, there was no noticeable help or change. Books and apps were suggested but there was little to no follow-up. The sessions seemed trivial. When we requested further insight and expressed concern about progress there was no further expertise provided. Finally, our personal notes were shared without our permission or awareness. Overall, our relationship deteriorated during this experience and we also lost trust in the process and her choices.

If you are looking for an expert, do not consider hiring Ms. Thorpe. My experience was very bad. Not only did she not help, she made things worse.

Dr. Thorpe is a life saver. I credit her single handedly for saving my marriage. She always helped me with solutions I never could have thought of myself. She assigned exercises for my husband and I which were intimidating at first but in the long run ended up fun and we are now closer than ever before. Recently a friend told me of a long standing problem in her marriage which was now affecting her state of mind very badly. Without hesitation I recommend Dr. Thorpe and would do so again in a heartbeat. Cannot than Dr. Thorpe enough.

This provider was one of the most helpful I have seen. She took my issues seriously and we set goals. I had some small homework assignments, which really kept me on track. I felt like she was organized and punctual.

After a few months of weekly appointments, I didn't feel I'd received any insight into myself that I didn't already have prior to my appointments. The CBT exercises I was given seemed like something a child would be given. Dr. Thorpe also took multiple phone calls during each of my sessions with her, which was very distracting and felt very disrespectful of me and my time.

Seemed as though she had no desire at all to help me.I'm my extremely fragile state I was desperate for help and she was just rude and acted as though she couldn't care less. Are there any Dr.'s left out there that want to help people?!?!
