Dr Julia mynt is a crook. She never wants to help and is very rude. My mother was her patient and Dr mynt told her that she has liver failure and just walked put without saying another word. My mother went to get a second opinion and she in fact does not have kidney failure. Also I have witnessed Dr. Mynt yelling at my mom which I had to yell back at her. Dr mynt treats any non-asian patient horrible. On multiple sites it's even states how she treats non asian patients differently. She also prescribes the wrong medicines. Another thing she did to my mother was deny her right to The Diabetes Center because my mother went to the center without Dr.Mynt recommending it. My mother has diabetes and has to give herself a shot everyday and you don't help her or give her advice on how to manage her diabetes and get mad that she went to the diabetes center to get help?! This is absurd! Dr. Julia Mynt should no longer be able to treat patients!

My husband and I both go to Dr. Myint, and have for (I think) around 15 years. She is knowledgeable, professional, and a very good diagnostician. An example: About 10 years ago, after one visit during which I complained of upper back pain, she told me I probably had gallstones. She sent me to get an ultrasound, and they found that my gallbladder was indeed stuffed with stones. Shortly after, I had an attack that sent me to the emergency room, and then to surgery (done by a surgeon, not Dr. Myint). Dr. Myint was in the recovery room when I woke up, concerned for my well-being. Her staff is always on top of everything, and I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes when I go to Dr. Myint's office. This is the best experience I've ever had with an internist, and I've been to many in my lifetime.

super doctor, wrote history herself, didn't rely on stand forms. kind, generous with time for patients and gives all the information i expected and more. she even took time to call my gyn to get additional information before my surgery. order appropriate pre surgery tests with explicit directions on what she expected of me as a patient. i could not have asked for a better primary care physician

Dr. Myint does not want to treat patients. She always reccomends a specialist. This is commendable but is there anything that you know how to treat? The last time I saw her she was very rude. I take an anti-depressant (prescribed by her) for depression. I also have chronic pain. I told her that I was having a hard time sleeping due to my depressive thoughts and pain level. She told me to exercise. Huh? How can someone exercise when they are in constant pain? I'm sorry to say this, but I think if you want good treatment from her it helps if you're Asian.
