The Dr. left tears in shoulder that should have been addressed in a Labrum repair procedure. Then when I didn't make the progress I felt I should have during rehab, my recovery issues were blamed on scar tissue. I went to another Dr and following another MRI, I had the tears corrected, at the cost of another year of pain and added expense.

If you need shoulder surgery, this is your team. Dr. Scott Sledge is highly skilled and simply the kindest human you will ever know. I had a full rotator cuff tear and also needed clavicle resection. Although the post surgery is awful (what surgery isn't) my success was outstanding. I have full motion and was completely pain free in a few months. Ashley is the PA and she is remarkable, as well. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient of Dr. Sledge's for at least 3 years, during which time I have had injections in my left shoulder, as well as arthroscopic surgery. The injections did not hurt AT ALL and the surgery went perfectly. During office visits Dr. Sledge is - every time and without exception - punctual, courteous, pleasant and is an expert in his field, as is his P.A. Additionally, his staff is responsive, communicative and always a pleasure to deal with. They definitely go above and beyond every time. Every staff member I have dealt with has been amazing. Guys, these guys truly care about Dr. Sledge's patients. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because he and his staff deserve it! I highly recommend Dr. Sledge!

I had a right rotator cuff repair done by Dr. Sledge. I had 2 tears , a lot of calcium (arthritis) buildup & a bone spur that he had to deal with. I was in a "sling" for 6 weeks then onto PT . I am 5 wks into PT & have most of my mobility back. Now I will begin strengthening the shoulder because I've lost most of my strength in that shoulder/arm. Overall I am very happy with the results. It took longer than I knew it would take to get my mobility back & now my strength . That was the only thing that wasn't made clear to me upfront. I would highly recommend Dr. Scott Sledge . Plus he has a wonderful bedside manner & really cares about you as a person & patient. He actually listens to you which is such a wonderful change. His asst. Ashley is wonderful & knowledgeable as well. Dr. Sledge has a relationship with Momentum PT which I would also recommend. Will at the 10N location is very good & knowledgeable.

Dr. Sledge and his staff are wonderful. I had rotator cuff surgery that involved a surgical patch. I’m a few weeks out from surgery and my pain has gone from horrendous to virtually nothing! The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. Mariel was a godsend helping me with paperwork. In my opinion, Dr Sledge and his staff set an incredibly high bar when it comes to health care providers.
