She’s lost her mojo...it’s very obvious that she just doesn’t care anymore. You’d think having her own health issue s would make her compassionate. The opposite. When it’s affecting your care, it’s time to stop. I used to have the highest regard for her. It’s very disappointing, especially when you put your trust in someone. Time to move on.

Horrible professional treatment. I began taking my daughter to Lipsey years ago when she was a teenage minor with a multitude of autoimmune symptoms. Although a blood test resulted in only 1 number inside normal on 5-6 markers that would identify her with LUPUS, Lipsey would only test six months regardless of borderline results and regardless of the timing of current flares. In fact, Lipsey told us if she tested again in 2 weeks, the results could be different every time and that it could take years to receive a diagnosis. Over time, we lost all trust in her as she would not agree to get my daughter in for labs when we called her with current flare-ups! Often, she never bothered to return a call. Of course, over the years diagnoses have been made by other medical specialists who have tested my daughter positive with other auto-immune conditions. Any time we have been in office with Lipsey, she has been incredibly rude and condescending. I cannot understand why she still has an active practice. Recently, we called for a return appointment as my daughter is having a current flare-up and additionally has been diagnosed with two new matters, one involving future surgery. Lipsey refused to see her, stated she hasn’t seen her in over a year, is no longer accepting patients and is no longer an established patient. Therefore, we received a referral from my daughter’s PCP to a partner in Lipsey’s group. Upon receipt, Lipsey BLOCKED US from establishing with her partner who happens to have excellent ratings! Lipsey stated it is policy that any patient seeing her cannot see another physician in the same practice. Remember, last week Lipsey stated my daughter was NO LONGER AN ESTABLISHED PATIENT and that she would not see her as a patient. Absolutely unacceptable! Avoid this woman at all costs! She has caused more issues than she has managed. We have decided to leave this medical group altogether and get established in a medical conscious professional environment. It is note worthy to share we have never had such issues with a medical professional other than this woman. This is the first time I have given a negative rating to someone’s profession. After years of poor communication, rude behavior and lack of medical concern for my daughter, we have had enough. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this person.

I saw her 10 years ago. Rude, condescending, no concern at all for patients. When I complained about ankle & foot pain that swelled to the point I was unable to walk, she told me I have a disease that causes pain (RA) and I just needed to accept pain every day. Like I didn’t know that already. After internist did MRI, I had a ruptured tendon in my foot that another month untreated would have left me with a FUSED ankle. I wouldn’t see her if she was the last MD on the planet or take my dog to her. I only gave 1 Star because it won’t let you do ZERO!

If you enjoy rearranging your entire work and personal life to see this Dr. Allison Lipsey then go ahead a schedule with her, because I guarantee she will call you the day of the appointment every time and say she is out sick and they will have to reschedule for several weeks later!! Two times in a row now- fly back from family vacation ahead of the other family member only to be canceled the next morning- plan and arrange my work week for the second follow up visit and get a call again the day of appointment and told she is out sick and won't be back for 6 days and they will call then to reschedule .

Probably the best and most attentive doctor I have ever encountered. Saw her for two years. Every appointment was on time within five minutes. Her staff is very friendly and efficient. She is very thorough and listens to me without interrupting. None better.

Referred to Dr. Lipsey for some inflammitory issues that appeared suddenly (leg 5X the size of my other) 1st visit was great, very thorough and she did help me. Next ones, didn't tell me about any of the results of 10 vials of blood she took BOTH visits and was rude because I told her I wanted a second opinion after she gave me her working diagnosis based on no concrete evidence but processes of elimination. Put me on some dangerous chemo meds at that. Lack of communication skills and she actually yelled at me during one visit for misunderstanding about taking or not continuing to take a steroid med mixed with the chemo meds. Walked right in while I was undressing to pounce on that issue. Then told me "you start to take 10 per day now" Uh, 10 per day, I ask? Well, that means 5 mgs two times a day she tells me in a very snotty tone. She does NOT communicate well at all! Good thing I care enough about my health to ASK her the right questions. I will not be returning
