I have been a patient of Dr. Ogle's for a few years now. I began seeing him after hitting a few breaking points in my mental health when therapy wasn't helping much anymore.

I am 25 and very progressive in both my lifestyle and beliefs. I was nervous about seeing a psychiatrist who was more focused on geriatric care and was older himself. I had concerns that he wouldn't listen to me or would judge my thoughts, but I was very pleasantly surprised.

So often in the mental health world, it's easy to feel like you get shoved out of the driver's seat - but not with Dr. Ogle! He respects the research I did to help find a diagnosis, and has always been very open and honest with the side effects, regulations, or restrictions on certain medications. Being Dr. Ogle's patient feels like being in a respected partnership where he trusts me and my knowledge and experiences. Thank you for what you do Doc!

Dr. Ogle failed to notice neurological changes in my appearance caused by using a drug "off-label" for too long. I am left with permanent facial damage.

Dr Ogle was assigned to my sister when she entered the Seasons unit at Community North in July. Her hisroty included depression and paranoia and she was not taking medications correctly including oxygen and heavy pain meds. Despite her history, he decided to let her go home on her own to take care of herself. Assuring us that if she had problems within 60 days he would invoke guardianship so that we could make sure she couldn't harm herself. One month later we were calling to tell him we found her unresponsive in her bed and taking all medications inappropriatly again. He NEVER returned our call. One month later on September 28, 2011 we found my sister dead in her bed. Why couldn't he return our call as he said he would?

An amazing genius, Dr. Ogle is quick to think of recommendations and is considerate of personal views. His explanations are clear and helpful. Also, his clever sense of humor is encouraging. I can easily recommend him for people with depression or mood disorders and to those people who want to live their lives to the fullest. Dr. Ogle has helped me to live a productive and successful life. I wish the same results to you or your loved one.

Dr. Ogle treated me for problems related to medically and pharmaceutically induced mania. After 18 months of being a zombie to over medication, I switched to his care. Understanding my fear of a recurrance of the mania, he has approached my case with expertise and caution. By setting realistic goals, he has gotten me back to a manageable number and dosage of meds. As I transitioned from a college student to a career person, we have and continue to hone in on the right treatment for me. Since adolescence, I have seen five different psychiatry professionals. Without a doubt, he is the best.

This doctor prescribed anti-depressants to a patient who was bipolar. Prescribing antidepressants to bipolar patients induces mania episodes. He not only prescribed the wrong medications, he even failed to take a conservative approach in case the patient was bi-polar. The errors from his treatment have caused our family devastating outcomes.

Very knowlegable when it comes to the treatment resistant type of patient. Turned my wife around after she failed to respond to #6 ECTs.

Dr. Ogle is the best! Total psychopharmacology genius and a very friendly man, as well. If you're a biologist and understand how these meds work, he's willing to work with you based on your personal opinions. Otherwise, I hear he's great with patients who know less about psychiatric medications.
