Horrible bedside manner. Rushed me/ stopped me when I was in the middle of explaining progression of my symptoms (which I was reading from bullet points on my phone so that I could be specific and brief) he told me half way through to stop and that he did not need any more information - I had been in there LESS than 3 minutes at this point. I told him I had not finished and there were important details about how my sickness worsened - at which point he told me in a very aggravated tone to hand me to him my phone, putting his hand out exasperated, because it would be "quicker!!!!" I don't think even read anything on it when he looked at it. It was ridiculous! I work in public service and do not make a profit from working with my clients, and would never consider treating them like that - even if they were rude to me, I would be professional - which was not the case at all i'm a very kind person and certainly didn't approach him in a rude manner.

I went to Dr. Venkatesan for about five years. In that time, my health has deteriorated to a point I'm barely functioning. Add to that, tests I thought were being run were, in fact, not. When I went to another doctor recently, levels of certain things were so high, i was told there is no way I had been checked for at least four years.

The sad part is I actually liked Dr. V, as he was extremely personable, but the fact I'm now fighting for my life because he did not either make sure the tests were appropriately run or did not even order them is beyond my disbelief. I'm regretting putting my trust and life in his hands.

Also, unless I called with something that could be construed as malpractice, there were chances I would not receive a call back, even if it was something relating to my medicine or that I was hospitalized.

I have had very good experiences with Dr. Venkatesan. He is very thorough. He hadn't received my medical records yet at my first appointment with him. When he did, he called me to follow up and refer me to a dermotologist when he saw the history of melanoma in my family. That impressed me.

Sent My father back to work without consulting his cardiologist or neurologists. Had not done blood work on a new diabetic in 6 monthes. If I didn't ask questions or do tons of research, he would not have been as good as he was. avoid at all costs

After having to repeatedly call and leave messages I finally going an appointment. After going to get a physical, I come out with a medical bill over $900.00 before insurance. When I called to ask what the reason was, I am told I got an extended stay medical appointment and that the costs were accurrate. Again, I stress this was for a physical and to make sure nothing else was wrong.
