OFFICE IS A JOKE. THEY SENT ME A BILL A FEW YEARS AGO FOR $5.26 FOR SERVICES THEY SAID WERE NOT COVERED. I CALLED MEDICARE AND MY PART B INSURANCE AND THEY BOTH SAID THERE SHOULD HAVE NOT BEEN A BILL AS THE SERVICES WERE COVERED. I CALLED DR. BROWN'S OFFICE AND GAVE THEM ALL THE INFORMATION TO RESUBMIT THE CLAIM AND TOLD THEM THAT I SPOKE WITH MEDICARE. I HAVE HEARD NOTHING BACK FROM THE DR'S OFFICE IN PROBABLY TWO OR MORE YEARS. THEN MUCH TO MY DISMAY, A BILL FROM A COLLECTOR SHOWS UP IN MY MAILBOX FOR $5.23. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

I Had to see Dr. Brown for a surgical consult and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to see him and that he was my physician. I have seen another surgeon who was did not take the time to explain anything to me and basically was on a time limit. Dr. Brown was very caring, understanding, and thorough. I did ultimately have surgery with him and was very pleased with the out come. I would definitely recommend this surgeon to family or friends.

March 2008 Simple gall bladder removal - missed a bile duct (he chose NOT to do intraoperative choleangiogram). I went septic, into a 30 day coma and almost died several times. Other surgeons had to go back in a couple more times. Took a year to sort-of-recover from the ordeal. Ended my career as a floor nurse, tried working a desk job, am now applying for Social Security Disability. He's a nice enough man, but his surgery radically changed my life, my finances and my future for the worse.

Dr.David Brown is a very good surgeon and a wonderful caring person. I first met him the day my niece(5/05) had an emergency gall bladder surgery. He came from the opeating room to tell the family how the surgery went. He explained so carefully why a new mother is suseptible to having a gall bladder attack. I knew then if I ever had to have a general surgery, I would ask for David Brown. I had umbilical hernia surgery, June 2008. Dr. Brown is the most down to earth Dr. that I know. No matter when you call, he always calls back to answer questions. My surgery was very successful. I would trust him again for surgery and I have given several people referrals to see Dr. Brown. He has a wonderful bedside manner.

Accidently perforated bowel. Did not repair. He admitted that he messed up & that he did not know how to make me well. I would have died if I had not changed doctors. I was in Critical Care for 2 months & rehab 1 week, 8 surgeries, still open wounds on stomach 2 years later & permanently disabled, plus the financial hardship.
