To Fred F. Who is bashing me on all the doc sites. I walked in to do my exam and besides not being acknowledged , you would not get off your cellphone despite my repeated requests. I am thrilled that you decided to take your lovely daughter elsewhere.

Dr. Katz is the best pediatrician. He is full of knowledge and all around great. I won't see any other doctor when it comes to my daughter, he's the best!

Dr. Katz is a suburb pediatric physician. We are truly blessed to have him in the community. He serves many children in the Northern Va. vicinity. My son has seen Dr. Katz most of his life. He is 21 and physically challenged with CP from birth and also has ADD. Dr. Katz has always been very knowledgeable and show great concern for his well being. As well as my daughter who is 28 now and moved on. He always is happy to provide you with additional information for future reference. He made my son feel comfortable talking and living with his disability. I am pleased to have him as our family pediatric physician. I do however understand the front desk at times can seem to be not as cheerful or friendly. Considering the number of patients being served not just Dr. Katz patients but many physicians that are also practicing in the same office. The front desk reception area appears to be all young adults. Perhaps they are learning patience and friendliness along the way. They will get there!

I am very desapointed! I scheduled 2 appt with Dr. Katz and I didn't see him, I saw another Dr. and nice Nurse Practicioner, some nurses were okey but one specialy were kind of mean, pushy and rude. The Dr. Order a Flu test to my son, and the nurse got my son straight and without explanation put it in his nose, my son reacted and moved, the stick went inside in his nose and hurt him, the nurse didn't feel bad or apologize, she just wanted to do her job done, another nurse came by because the screaming, she was nice and talk to my son, he calm down, they try again, he cried, and finally the nurse practicioner came and told then to stop, and ask my son to blow his nose. If you choose to be a nurse you must be compasioned, love your job and understand ill kids, my son is a sweetheart and I never had problems taking him to the doctor, but now after the experience I had, my son is really scared to visit a dr. If you schedulle and appt with Dr. Katz just make sure you will see him.

EXCELLENT CARING PHYSICIAN. I'm a Grandmother that has been to may pediatricians, Dr. Katz is knowledgeable, compassionate and has a genuine love of the children he treats. I agree with other posts regarding the front desk staff, they need a "training class on professionalism and courtesy" Don't hold this against Dr. Katz, he's worth it. Nurses are very nice, we've been seeing Dr. Katz for over 4 years and will always use Dr. Katz for our Grandchildren. There's a new Gainesville office Dr. Katz is there also, maybe the front desk staff there are nicer than the Manassas office. I have not been there.

Dr Katz is great! The front desk staff is rude and they cater to the Manassas hispanic crowd. Since we have been seeing him the office staff has changed a lot. He is a great dotor just in a bad location.

Dr Katz was referred to us by the Specialist that treats my daughter for Hypothyroidism. He is great, both of my kids go to his practice now and we always try to get him for our appointments. Many times he would not only treat the problem but give you information on other subjects, weight and nutrition for your kids is an example. We live in Centreville and drive 30-40 minutes depending on traffic to go see this doctor. I rather do that than to get a closer doctor that I don't trust.Staff at the practice is rude and most of the time not helpful. If you can pass that and get to see doctor Katz you'll see that the registration and check-in is a mild inconvenience. Nurses in general are a matter of luck we had a couple of ones that were not friendly with the kids and they seem pissed just to work with them. In other cases we had nurses that connected with the kids and made the whole visit a breeze. Summary. Check-in is bad. Nurses is a matter of luck but Dr. Katz is great.

Dr David Katz has seen my child for 14 years in his Manassas office. Dr Katz always takes the time to research and explain what is going on with my son. We love Dr Katz!
