This man saved my life. I was carried into his office at age 12 because another dr. had my insulin so messed up that it almost killed me. I am now 38 and have a very good AIC without a pump. It offends me to hear someone say that he doesn't care. Yes he has an attitude at times but it's usually caused by a patient not caring about themselves enough to do what he asks. I believe that he truly cares about his patients. He is there to make you healthy not hold your hand and stroke your hair. If you are serious about taking care of yourself then this is the doctor for you. I would really recommend any parents looking for a great diabetes doctor to take your child to Dr. Meacham.

Dr Meacham is like the best thing that ever happened to me. I have been to so many doctors in the last few years that I never dreamed the "old fashioned" doctor was still alive and kicking! He cares, he makes you smile at his wry wit, he takes the time necessary to get to the root of the problem, and his staff is amazing! I love this man.

Dr Meacham may have bad bedside maner at times, but he is a great doctor. He knows what he is talking about. I have seen him on and off for the past 20 years. He is very sarcastic and rude at times, but that is just his personality, dont take it personally. great staff great doctor

To many people, he comes across uncaring or rude. He is probably overworked as his expertise is in high demand. He will take time to talk with you and work thru what health issues you have. His office has changed dramatically in the ten years I've been going to the practice. The nurses are great advocates for the patients. Most of all, I think people don't understand that Dr. Meacham will spend as much time on you as you will put into your health. So if you are going to be rude, non-compliant and disrespectful, find another doctor. Don't waste this man's time.

Bedside manner is reprehensible. I chose this doctor because he is the Director of Clarian Endocrinology. I mistook the tile to mean he was the best doctor. Dr Meacham's plate is too full to continue to see patients. He was rude to me and did not listen. If he works for you great...I am warning you of his poor listening skills,bedside manner and attitude.
