Dr. Speakman
is not a good dentist. She rip off people and she is always angry yelling at her staff and customers. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Going to Dr. Speakman was the worst experience I have ever had with a dentist. She told me I had a decayed tooth that could not be saved and was going to charge me $3000 for a new tooth. I recently saw another dentist and had it filled, he confirmed it was not decayed just chipped. She also confirmed via phone they took my insurance and is listed as "in network" but was charged me full price for a cleaning, which should have been covered. She then billed me for work that had never been done (because they cancelled and tried to reschedule multiple times) and when I asked for a breakdown of what exactly I was being billed for they would not/could not supply it. I refused to pay, it got sent to collections, it look forever to get it removed. I can't believe she gets away with this stuff!

Dr. Speak man told me I had cavities so she filled one without Novocain and I went to another dentist to get a second opinion and I did not have the 4 cavities she said I had. Feeling Violated

Dr. Speakman and her staff are great! I've been seeing her since I moved here a year ago. I was looking for a dentist and my friend recommended her. Dr. Speakman knows what she's doing and always explains things clearly when I have questions. Her staff is very helpful and friendly. They are good at scheduling appointments, checking pretreatment plan and submitting insurance claims. I would recommend Dr. Speakman to my friends.

My experiences with Dr. Speakman have been nothing but positive. She and her staff have always been professional and courteous, and I would recommend her to everyone I know. She is kind and caring, and I don't dread going to the dentist since I started going to see her.

I have been going to Dr Speakman since 2006, She is a great Dentist who is caring, listens to you, asks questions, yes, even about my health, each time I see her. Things change & she needs to know what is going on with you & your health. I have never had a problem with her, her staff or insurance getting submitted. I have read the other comments & it's easy to hide behind a computer & say bad things about someone, very sad. Since I have been going to Dr. Speakman I have seen her practice grow! I am very happy I found her, she knows I am a baby when it comes to my mouth, she is fine with that & has never made me feel embarrassed about it. She is the BEST dentist I have been to!

Dr Speakman was defensive and unprofessional when I went to her about a 2 1/2 year old crown that had a hole in it. My insurance only covers a new crown every 8 years, as they're expected to last 5-8 years. Her rudeness and unwillingness to help, even a little, was enough for me to realize there are more professional dentists out there. In addition, she bad mouthed the past work I had done on my teeth, not only have those crowns outlasted hers, my new dentist confirmed they were made with newer & stronger materials than Dr Speakmans. She's not a terrible dentist, but there are better ones out there. The cost of dental is too much to settle.
