Great dr and the best I’ve heard about since moving to pittsburgh

Dr. Roisen challenges me with tough questions. Her insights have been very helpful to me, even if they are sometimes difficult to hear. Her style is indeed a bit academic, but she is very knowledgable and is able to string threads together that I can't recognize on my own. Highly recommended.

I have seen Dr. Roisen for a number of years, and she has helped me tremendously. She is not a super casual, "I'm your buddy, so let's sit here and have a chat" kind of therapist. I've had that kind of therapist, and frankly, that kind of therapist often comes with problems of her own--not punctual, hard to get appts with, a little too emotionally involved with patients. With that being said, though, although Dr. Roisen is very professional, I would not say she is "cool" or "detached". She is intelligent, caring, and thoughtful, too. I feel like my time with her has been well spent, and I would recommend her to friends and family.

You couldn't possibly do better. She came highly recommended, and having benefited tremendously from her insight and knowledge, I would now send the people I love most to her without a moment's hesitation. She has improved my life and my work and I feel fortunate to have found her. (I don't think she has any staff, though; I've only had contact with her, so my staff rating was of Dr. Roisen.)
