This Dr is a joke , his body language alone is telling you he thinks he is the best and nothing you say matters ,you can tell him how you feel only to have him dispute it and tell you it's not possible! I on the other hand told him when he lives in my body he can tell me how I feel.i would never ever recommend this rude obnoxious good for nothing doctor to anyone ever I'm surprised that kaiser condones this type of dr ! They should really send out surveys to all of his patients I didn't receive one found this to be the next best thing!

He was assigned to me by default by my insurance. I only needed a referral to a dermatologist because I had a bleeding mole. Dr Townshend brushed off my concerns and even intimated that the friend I brought with me (who was my son's age) had been "playing with it in my sleep." So rude He called the dermatologist to come and then said, "so all I get to do is talk to you?" Unbelievably rude. Then he proceeded to spout off mysoginistic comments that embarassed both me and my friend. As a woman, I do not want a Dr who hates women. I plan to request a new Dr. ASAP. Do not go to this guy if you are a woman!

I'd seen him once before 2 years ago to get a physical & the visit went fine. I just recently saw him again to get a referral for a sleep study evalutaion that was ordered to me from another doctor work. I don't think he even looked at my file! He just immedantly took the other doctors word for it and ordered me the wrong sleep study. I've been calling him for a week & a half and he won't return my call. VERY POOR SERVICE!
