Terrible doctor and her staffs! She referred a doctor but did not want to provide reference!! It had been 3 months my wife wanted to get reference from her for the doctor she referred to , but she & her staffs had been deceiving us and kept pushing the time to provide for reference. We paid her cash for the visit!! Her staffs also wanted cash for the reference as well. Mamta (her employee) told me this morning over the phone that she did not provide reference is because of her insurance and billing issues!!!

This woman put me on so many months and months of estrogen and I ended up with uterine cancer which my oncologist is attributing to the years of estrogen she put me on. I'm now 44. I started with her at the age of 37 and never got a baby after going through all the heartache. And now I have cancer. I'm having my attorney look at this along with a specialist to see if I have a case here and it looks like I do. She won't get away with this.

Be careful of this woman. Someone wrote a review about her saying to only go to her if you're Indian. Well, I'm Indian and that didn't stop her from trying to scam me.

She is a scam artist and she is all about money. During my first 12-15 visits, she came across very sweet. She spent time with my husband and I during my visits and we bought into it. After a while, when I realized things weren't looking so good & I expressed my frustration, she started getting angry. My husband also felt like there was something off about her and he mentioned this to me a few times but we decided to just stick with it because it was more of a hassle to find a new doctor and start all over again. During one of our visits, she said this to me and I will always remember it..."lay people don't understand that there is a science behind infertility. Everybody just wants to get pregnant. You might get pregnant with the next cycle or you might not....I can't promise you that. You just have to keep trying as long as it takes." These were the words that made me realize that she had no intention of getting me pregnant. I was 34 years old.

She put me on so many medications for my 2 egg retrievals. The first retrieval ended up getting cancelled because she told me to take my Hcg trigger the night before and by the time I went in for my egg retrieval with Global Fertility in NYC (which is all arranged through her), I had already ovulated so they canceled my cycle. For the 2nd egg retrieval, 12 eggs were retrieved- 3 of them turned into day 5/6 embryos of good quality (PGT tested). She had me come into the office almost daily for "monitoring." I thought this was excessive but I didn't want to question her.

For my frozen embryo transfer cycles (I had 3 separate transfer cycles to prevent a twin pregnancy) she made me take so much estrogen...she kept telling me that my lining was not getting thick. Meanwhile, my estrogen levels were in the 2000s to 3000s because she had me on oral and vaginal estrogen then injections. I had 3 embryo transfers with Global Fertility (who might also be in on this scam with her but I can't be sure of this) and all 3 PGT tested near-perfect embryos failed to implant. I felt that she was doing something wrong here because I have 2 children naturally who are 6 and 8 years old and we were trying for a 3rd baby years later but weren't having any luck naturally.

She had me and my husband take a whole bunch of tests with her to rule out any problems with my uterus, or any problems with my blood/ clotting, or any other issues and they all came back negative. We also went for genetic testing to make sure nothing was wrong. Finally, it came to a point where I had no more embryos left with Global Fertility in NYC so I decided to move on to another reproductive doctor just because I didn't trust her and I didn't want to keep doing these cycles with her. The medications made me have so many mood swings.

I was very fortunate that my husband has EXCELLENT insurance through his job which allowed me the luxury of trying again with another doctor. With my new doctor, I had just 1 egg retrieval and was able to get 32 eggs retrieved and 11 of them developed into great quality embryos (I had these PGT tested also). So basically, the number of embryos more than tripled with this new doctor because he put me on the correct medications suited for my body. Also, with this new doctor, I took oral estrogen just like I did with Dr. Palta initially, but I had no problem with my lining....and guess what? I got pregnant with my first embryo transfer. We have a beautiful, healthy 1 year old baby boy now. Best news is that, we still have 8 beautiful embryos waiting for us if we decide to have another child.

Moral of the story is, run away from her. Run as fast as you can & don't look back. You'll be doing yourself a favor. She put me on all the wrong meds for my egg retrievals so that I don't get too many embryos & she can keep doing this over and over again with me so I can be her cash cow. This woman is repulsive and she calls herself a doctor.

Beware of this fraud!!! I was 29 years old when I started with her and this is what she did to me:

I had a total of 3 IUIs and 5 IVF egg retrieval with her. She had me come in very frequently while on medications to stimulate egg growth. For the first IUI, I had 3 follicles and she said "I can't do an IUI, you will end up with triplets." So she cancelled my cycle even though i was completely okay with the idea of having triplets and begged her to do it. The 2nd time around, I had 2 large eggs. She let my estrogen peak and then drop down a little and then did the IUI. She knew this wouldn't get me pregnant. I kept trusting her despite my instincts and did yet another IUI with her which failed for the same reason as the 2nd time. She then told me I shouldnt do anymore IUIs and that I should proceed to IVF because I'm "too damaged" and that IUIs won't work on me. We then finally proceeded to IVF and I underwent egg retrieval 5 times and got no viable embryos. She put me on quite a few meds and had a lot of eggs on ultrasound but she said "those are not eggs, half of those are sacs filled with fluid." I believed her because I didn't know any better.

I stayed with her so long because she was close by and very accessible. Also, she always got back to me when I called and that was what made me think that she was a great doctor because other facilities don't do that....that was my only reason for staying. My gut kept telling me something was not right with her and I finally decided to listen to myself so I ended up going to another doctor and upon reviewing my records, he informed me that she was a fraud and I had grounds to sue her. He reviewed all my records in detail which showed that she used too many meds on me and also gave me the meds at the wrong time. She also had me take meds that should've never been used on me- I have PCOS and mild endometriosis. He said that she had me take the trigger shot at the wrong time (he correlated this with my bloodwork which showed that she made me take the trigger shot either too early or too late in different cycles). I spent 2 wasted years with her. She kept telling me "I know you think you deserve to be pregnant right away because you did so many cycles but trust me, you have too many things wrong with you" She also said "I've had one patient for 8 years and she just got pregnant after 8 years of trying....it will happen...you just have to be patient. It's just not your time yet. You need to be calm"

With my current physician, after 1 IUI, I'm 6 months pregnant. Dr. Palta is a fraud. She came across so genuine and sweet and spent a lot of time with me so I believed everything she said. Please don't let this happen to you. If you want to take the risk of going to her, that's your choice. But at least have another reproductive endocrinologist review the records on the side to make sure she is not deceiving you.

I never write long reviews like this but my heart is so hurt. This nearly broke up my marriage. She is an evil woman who cares about money ONLY. Funny thing is, one of the first things she said to me was, "do what is easy for you...this is not about money...the goal here is to get you pregnant."....she said that when we were having a conversation about finances. She maxed out my insurance benefits with everything that she did and then I was paying out of pocket for sonogram and bloodwork. I spent so much money out on pocket for medications, blood work and sonograms after my insurace benefits of $60,000 ran out.

I wouldn't even bother suing her. She does not keep a print out of the sonograms. I hope she ends up in hell because that is where she belongs for taking advantage of so many vulnerable and fragile women. My heart truly goes out to the woman who has been with her for 8 years- I hope you see this and find a different doctor.

She is a lunatic. She only cares about money. I remember being extremely happy after my first visit because she seemed so compassionate and willing to work with me. But that's just her way of pulling patients in. All that changed after the first few appointments. She also told me that I would have to pay a certain amount for lab work and ultrasound. When I finally received my bill, my head was spinning because of the excessive charges that we didn't agree to. When I questioned her about it, she said "I never said your bill was going to this..." She either forgot what she said or she lied. Either way, she was deceitful.

She is extremely rude to her own staff and puts them down in front of patients. Like other patients have said, she needs a psychiatrist...her mood changes at the drop of a dime without any real reason.

Also, she is not up to date on current best practices. She let my estrogen go very high and said that this is normal. When I checked with my current doctor who is part of NYU, he said it was too high for an embryo transfer and needed to be lower to have a successful pregnancy. She also didn't remember my history and I had to repeat it each time during my appointment. She relies on her memory instead of writing things down. She didnt write anything down to track my progress and said things like "what did we do last time" or "remind me why you're here again" or " what were the measurements last week." Very disappointed that I wasted so much time with such a terrible doctor. She is incompetent and should not be trusted. Also, she hires high school students to work in her office. She does not have a nurse or medical assistant. She has these high school kids draw blood and handle all the paperwork and they mess up often- they are not trained phlebotomists. It's insane that she is allowed to practice.

She was a bit fraudulent. She is very sweet and super nice but definitely wants money. Instead of willing to run test in one day she kept recommending multiple days to come in and stuff certain things. I've only gone to her once because after my first and last meeting with her I was not comfortable at all! Before I even walked in her office I advised her I may or may not be pregnant as we speak because I don't know until I received my menstrual cycle and instead of her checking via urine test or blood work, she quickly said "no you're not pregnant, it's wishful thought". MEANWHILE, I WAS PREGNANT ALREADY WHEN I WENT IN HER OFFICE JUST DIDNT KNOW IT. And she kept advising to check my husband before they check the woman to ensure it isn't him the problem. She wanted us to come in multiple days so she can get paid a co-pay each time we come when in reality these "tests" she wanted to do could've all been done in the same day. Needless to say, after my initial meeting wit her I never went back ever again. I was in her office a total of 45 minutes and she just spoke to me about the office and their procedures. Later, my health insurance revealed she charged them $280 and claimed she did surgical procedure on me and provided medical care. What a FRAUD! Thank God my insurance company asked for proof and when she was unable to provide they denied her claim.

Was the worst experience that I've ever had! Insulting and discriminatory! She refused to treat me because I'm a woman in a relationship with a woman. She stated that " she doesn't do that". This has left me with a bad memory for years! She also screamed out to her staff to return my co-pay.
