If I had 6000 stars, those would not be enough to reflect my experience of a consult with Dr.Vidali. I was seeking a second opinion due to my latent pain after excision surgery and stage IV endo and Adenomyosis diagnosis six months. What meant to me the most was not only the quality of the medical consult but the empathy, humanity and professionalism I was met with.

We spent a good hour and a half reviewing all my history truly in depth like I have never been able to do in any other medical appointments in more than 15 years of agony going to more than 35 specialists. Dr. Vidali not only is a very knowledgeable endometriosis surgeon, he also has a strong competence in radiology and ultrasound. He has been truly a one stop shop for me during my consult, and something that truly should be the gold standard of care. He was able to show me live the findings of my MRIs pre-op, and in less than 5 mins skillfully performed an ultrasound that confirmed serious Adenomyosis and possible residual endo disease. I am not joking when I say that I learnt more about my situation in this hour and a half than in 15 years. I truly wish I had this visit 12 years ago when my symptoms started becoming unbearable but I guess we get to a place when we are supposed to.

He also showed true empathy for my pain and gave me some pain management tools that i have never had before, and he even arranged an express compounding for me at a pharmacy within few hours before I left NYC. He truly has a 360 degree vision of endo care, we even discussed lifestyle and things to implement to optimize my healing.

I also appreciated the extreme intellectual honesty and respect for other surgeons he showed when reviewing my surgery videos and notes. He didn’t throw his ego in the conversation to push me into picking him for my next surgery or discrediting the previous team who took care of me and that truly I had an amazing experience with. This way of talking was in absolute starking contrast with some other conversations and consultations where I received very rapid judgements without even taking the time to review my materials (e.g. they must have done something wrong if you have pain, they didn’t do what I do so well, etc). I felt seen, understood, respected. I didn’t feel he gave anything for granted, he truly wanted to help with his knowledge and experience and then leaving me with my reflections and personal decisions.

I left NYC with my heart heavy because of my diagnosis and situation, but light and full by this conversation that has been healing and full of informations that will enable me to decide and do what is best for my health and quality of life. thank you Dr. Vidali! Grazie grazie grazie

Dr. Vidali is truly a godsend. After struggling with multiple pregnancy losses, I was feeling hopeless and lost. It wasn't until I came across Dr. Vidali's practice that I finally found the support and expertise I desperately needed. He patiently listened to my concerns and took the time to understand my medical history. His thorough investigation into the root cause of my miscarriages led to a proper diagnosis and an effective treatment plan.

Even though I was not in the same city as Dr. Vidali, he managed my care remotely with the utmost professionalism and compassion. Through video consultations and constant communication, he closely monitored my progress and adjusted my treatment as needed. Thanks to Dr. Vidali, I am now the proud mother of a healthy baby boy. I can't thank him enough for giving me the chance to experience the joy of motherhood.

I am about three weeks post-op from Dr. Vidali’s laparoscopy excision surgery. Today was my post-appointment; discussing the pathology report of discovered endometriosis found in the bladder, rectum, etc., and a discovered hernia.

I found Dr. Vidali through Nancy’s Nook doctor’s suggestion, Dr. Andrea Vidali is a brilliant doctor with a phenomenal staff. His active involvement in the Endometriosis summit this year alongside his Reddit, Instagram, and Facebook activity conveyed true dedication and expertise on infertility and endometriosis. Without a doubt, definitely drove my decision in choosing him to handle my care. From the first call, he asked “Let me facetime you” He wants to see you, but more importantly, he wants to hear you. I mean how’s he going to fix you, right?

This disease is hard to navigate alone, his process was quick but thorough after my pre-op appointment I was scheduled for surgery in less than two weeks’ time. I had the white glove service at the hospital check-in. Before being wheeled to my overnight room, Dr. Vidali caught me in the hallway and took my hand he said “We got it”. The treatment at Hoboken University Hospital, while I stayed overnight, was around the clock, had fast response times, and they are pain management driven. Recovery has been great, I can reach out to his staff and hear something back within the day from Dr. Vidali himself. I could go on but I’ll list all his handles above so you can give his practice a look. Thank you Dr. Vidali, other than recovery I have no pain, no aches, and regular bowels. I woke up from surgery and could feel a difference in my brain fog, I’ve had my sleep return and I know there’s more to come.

More about my experience with endometriosis: I suffered from irregular cyclic pain in the 10 range on the “pain scale” since about 11 years old. Heavy bleeding, painful cramping, pain during intercourse, painful urination, painful bowels. Multiple hospital visits, tests, MRI cat scans, you name it I’ve done it with no results found. A few attempts for symptom elevation with hormonal contraception in my mid to late teens, the side effects out weighed any if all relief. I had a successful full-term pregnancy before surgery but struggled to conceive. I received a clinical diagnosis of endometriosis from an OBGYN, I was not confident in the practice’s ability to treat and went on a hunt and came across Nancy Nook and the rest is history.

Although I am looking to put this all behind me,  I will be reaching out to Dr. Vidali in the future for my future pregnancies until then good luck and I wish you all the best.

I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis last year. I had an unsuccessful laparoscopic surgery for the removal of endometriomas from an inexperienced gynecologist. After that I did my research and I joined Nancy’s Nook, a facebook group that helps women with endometriosis learn about the disease and treatment options. Through Nancy’s Nook I was able to find an endometriosis specialists in my area and I got in contact with Dr. Andrea Vidali. The first time I met Dr. Vidali I can see right away his passion for helping women with this disease and how he strives for excellence in his practice. My endometriosis/endometrioma excision was a success. Recovery was much easier compared to my 1st surgery even though this surgery was more extensive.
Dr. Vidali is a blessing to me and my husband.

Dr. Vidali performed a very complex surgery on me that included a bowel resection. No other doctors were willing to do the surgery because they deemed it too difficult and refused to acknowledge the connection between my symptoms and endometriosis. Dr. Vidali and his staff were amazing. I have a new life. He is committed, compassionate, and always accessible. He tackled one of the toughest cases and did so with flying colors. Go to him!

I am so incredibly grateful for Dr. Vidali! Not only is he a truly amazing and caring surgeon, he is a huge advocate for the endometriosis as well as the infertility community. I had surgery with him in June for stage 4 endo. During surgery he also discovered an endo lesion on my bowel which led to a bowel resection. Definitely wasn't expecting that, but it was the cause of so many of my issues! I have had ZERO pain since everything was removed and I have my life back! Dr. Vidali went above and beyond for me and I'm so thankful for him and his expertise in this field. I've also experienced multiple miscarriages and IVF failures, largely in part due to my severe endo, but I still always felt that there was something more going on. It couldn't just be bad luck time after time. We did immune testing with Dr. Vidali and he is the only dr to give me answers and hope, to tell me it's not bad luck and that having another baby is absolutely possible! So so happy and thankful to have found him, my only regret is not finding him sooner!! Thank you Dr V, I am indebted to you forever!!

Dr. Vidali is God sent and has completely changed my life in more than one way. I had battled with aggressive Endo for over a decade before I knew that he existed and the work he does. I had 3 ablation surgeries with my GYN which provided little to no relief. I scheduled a consultation and spoke to Dr. Vidali on the phone. He was so confident he could help me by performing excision surgery and I felt that. He told me to stop Lupron treatments because it was a temporary Band-Aid with serious long term side effects. We traveled to NJ to meet him in person and he did an ultrasound and immediately identified an issue that no one else was ever able to help me with. My rec-tum was attached to my uterus!! It explained why I was in such agonizing pain. We scheduled surgery and the rest is history. I had surgery in September 2019. I found out I was pregnant October 28th 2019 after years of infertility issues and being told that IVF was my only option from other doctors. We got pregnant naturally! My daughter is now 4 months old, my period has returned and it is NOTHING like what I have ever experienced. I am not use to not dying from pain. It makes me cry because its literally life changing. I will tell everyone and anyone I can that is battling Endo to reach out to his office. We need more doctors like him. I am forever grateful!

Dr. Vidali is an absolutely AMAZING doctor! I have been dealing with endometriosis for over 10 years and have gone through countless treatments that were not effective at all. Dr. Vidali sat with me and explained all of my options, in detail, to ensure that I got the best care possible. I ended up getting surgery and I do not regret it at all! He found extensive endo throughout and was able to excise all of it. After, he showed me pictures (that were labeled and I got to take home) of every part of me that he checked and pointed out all of the endometriosis. When I ended up having a reaction to a medication a few days later and ended up in the hospital, he was texting me personally until midnight to make sure I was getting the best care possible. When I had to be admitted, he visited me every day to check on my progress. He truly is a wonderful doctor that really cares about his patients. You will not regret going to see him!!
