The suggestion to go to Dr. George R. Blumenschein came with an extremely HIGH RECOMMENDATION. He was in Arlington, Texas at the Arlington Cancer Center, best kept secret in the world. He was extremely chivalrous as our conversation developed. The phone rang and it was his nurse. He asked if I minded if he took the call. At first it annoyed me, but when I discovered it came from England (UK), I asked if he wanted me to step out? "No, that won't be necessary. He listened for awhile and then said "...that will be fine. I will be prepared for you." He wrote info down during the conversation. He apologized and returned talking to me. He said, "He would obtain my records from Kansas City and determine what he suggested for me." I received within two days. I retuned and he spent a considerable amount of time explaining what he suggested. I began chemotherapy shortly afterwards. When I moved to Kansas City, I continued to return every three months to him, until he retired. He had Parkinson's, but still saw his patients and his mannerisms never changed. When he retired, he suggested I see Dr. Karle Dicke in Arlington, Texas. Both he, Dr. Dicke, and Kansas City friends referred me to numerous doctors in Kansas City. I further tried drs. other doctors in Kansas City suggested, but none could compare. To this day, I continue returning to Arlington. Now, I go every six months. Believe me, there is truly a drastic difference!!!
