Dr Nixon treated my mother for wet macular degeneration for years. It was his location that took us there initially but even after we moved far out of Austin I would not have taken her to anyne else. I am so grateful to him for saving her eyesight. He was unfailingly kind and gentle, I would recommend him to anyone.

I have never in my life had such a wonderful experience with any type of doctor as I have with the Austin Retina office. The entire staff have been absolutely amazing. I never have to wait long at all and they all put up with my rattling on. Dr Nixon is an amazing and caring doctor. Without going into detail, I can honestly say he has a huge heart and genuinely cares about his patients. The front desk receptionist is also amazing and took the time to listen to my babbling. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. You are all my angels! May God Bless you all!

Dr. Nixon was very kind and helpful with my Retnina problem. He took time to listen and explain what he was going to do He had information sent explaining what was going on with my eye. I would recommend him to anyone with a retina problem.

The excellent staff were all very informative and empathic. I experienced minimal wait time during the entire visit. Each test was discussed and explained thoroughly so I was fully prepared with minimal anxiety. Dr. Peter Nixon was very professional, warm, and caring, giving me a full explanation of what my current eyesight issue is, its ramifications, and possible future surgical intervention. I came away with a much brighter outlook. His staff also promptly followed up with additional information. I highly recommend Dr. Nixon and his staff at Austin Retina Associates
