Dr. Schmidt is great as a physician. His office staff however, is another story. They are rude, VERY VERY slow (Expect to be at your appointment for well over an hour), and the practice manager Which is also one of their P.A.'s is unprofessional, rude, and downright ignorant!! Another suggestion is that Dr. Schmidt may recommend physical therapy. BEWARE of Advance Rehabilitation LLC located in the Tallgrass building at 6001 SW 6th Ave # 230 Topeka, KS 66615. Their billing is questionable at best. they really don't do anything and, they charge monthly interest fees no matter what you balance is. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

The best orthopedic surgeon ever! Did my knee replacement and I had a terrific result! He is very kind and compassionate! Would recommend him for any joint replacement
