Excellent doctor. I met with all the top cerebellopontine angle tumor surgeons in the NY area. I found him to be the best in the meetings, and after selecting him to perform the surgery, the result was much better than what any of the doctors (6 of top NY brain/head surgeons) I had met told me I should expect.

I had acoustic neuroma 13 years ago and searched everywhere and came upon Dr post. Truthfully he's God's answer to us human beings. I have now three kids and lost one side of hearing but so humble and down to earth is Dr Post. God bless him and his spirit

After two craniotomies, one transfrenoidal surgery, a brain hemmhorage, and radiation for craniopharyngiomas, I can say that Dr. Post saved my life several times. He is a great man!

Dr. Post is the best. He removed a large acoustic neuroma for me in 2007. This surgery (not an easy one by any stretch) went perfectly. He was confident without being pompous. You can't ask for anything more than that!

I came to Mt. Sinai Hospital with a 7 cm pituitary macroadenoma, and after a 9 hour operation, Dr. Post successfully removed it. He dealt with me and my anxious family in a professional, compassionate manner. He was patient in answering questions, and showed great concern and interest in the progress of my recovery. I would highly recommend him due to his superior skills and congenial personality.

I had brain surgery to remove a 2.8 AN. Dr.Post is an amazing surgeon and extremely well known and respected. After reading the reviews on here I was very hesitant to see him thinking he would be arrogant. Far from the truth!! He is one of the sweetest and most pleasant doctors I have ever been to. And that's saying a lot since he is a chairman emeritus of neurosurgery at Mount Sinai! He probably could afford to be cold and arrogant since he is so well known but he's not at all. I have great insurance and can afford to see any doctor I want so I am extremely picky with doctors and I'm very very happy with Dr.Post. When I heard I had a brain tumor I thought my life was over. But Dr.Post and his amazing NP Jane made me realize I would be ok. He cannot be blamed for those who have complications. He is a truly skilled neurosurgeon and expects the best results because he is great at what he does.

Dr Post was highly recommended by my endocrinologist. Hence, I did not go for a second opinion - big mistake! I found him to be pompous, arrogant, and cold hearted (after the surgery). He performed a transphenoidal resection of my pituitary gland to remove an adenoma. I was promised by him that I would be able to return back to work and feel like myself in 2 weeks. Far from the truth! The surgery did not go well - I suffered a stroke that evening. To my amazement Dr.Post blamed me for the symptoms I was experiencing. Two months later there was proof I had a stroke and that the distal internal carotid artery was torn (which resulted in a pseudoaneurysm). Proof of these maladies from this surgery were discovered from several MRI's, MRA's, and 2 cerebral angiograms. Due to the findings of compromised arteries I will unfortunately have to undergo multiple brain bypasses. To summnarize, I would never recommend Dr.Post. Sadly, my life as I once knew it will never be the same!

Dr. Post is an amazing doctor. He performed my Transsphenoidal surgery to remove my pituitary tumor, and exactly what he explained was exactly how it went. He was very confident with his answers and explained everything in detail to us. I am very happy and blessed to have gone to such a qualified doctor. Just 2 weeks after surgery, and I feel great and all my blood tests are coming back much better than they have in years. Thank you to Dr. Post and his whole Team for putting me at ease and giving me all my answers!!!! Maryann
