We saw Dr. Milmoe because my son was diagnosed with sleep apnea and probably needs a tonsillectomy. Dr. Milmoe was condescending at times and he made some statements about sleep apnea that were wrong. It wasn't fair for him to compare child's sleep apnea to adult sleep apnea... since treatment courses are completely different. I have sleep apnea and if I could get my tonsils out instead of using a CPAP I would. However, in children 80+ percent of the time a tonsillectomy and adnoidectomy significantly improve the sleep apnea. Needless to say, we will not be seeing Dr. Milmoe again. UGH!
