I disagree with anyone who objects to Dr. Sassano about anything. I have been disabled with arthritis for 22 years. I have been to Mayo Clinic, and pain management in Orlando, etc.
Finally, I found someone who has been there with pain. Dr. Sassano was in terrible pain and switched from surgeon to pain management. He is not only excellent, he will really work with you. He is abrupt but basically you can get through that if you try to be succinct. His time is limited, so I also had notes of what I wanted to ask him. I went to him for four years, left and realized I had made a mistake. But I would trust him 100% again. Dr. Carolyn Lawrence

This "doctor" is by far the worst I've ever experienced. I suffer from chronic pain.Never introduced himself interrogated me for 21/2 hrs.Waited 1hr.Referred to Dr House on tv, stating all patients lie.Wild eyed, looking akk over the room. I feel he Needs psychiatric intervention.Answered his cell phone, stating he was assisting someone? Questioned me on previous Dr, criticized him.Appeared to be doing study at Medicare's and my expense and 3-1/2 hrs of my time.Required up front copay, knew I was on Medicare, then said I couldn't afford him, that he wasn't going to do anything for me.He was abusive, intimidating, dishonest, forgot Hippocratic oath, "first do no harm". I was very upset by his antics, heart was pounding, almost called 911, probably should have. High blood pressure puts me in danger of stroke, heart attack, getting so stressed out.
