Gave me an epidural that required hospitalization, the only time in 14 epidurals that any doctor ever required me to be hospitalized for the procedure; then gave me massive doses of pain meds that made me so loaded that I didn't know how loaded I was, putting myself and my children at risk. Only afterwards did I learn that he got his MD in Bogota, Colombia back in the 80s, which suggests that he was unable to get admitted to any med school in the US at the time, no doubt b/c his grades and/or MCAT scores were too low. He never listened to anything I was saying as he was always multitasking when in a consult, and given the results of his epidural, he was likely multitasking while he was doing that procedure as well?! Out of 14 epidurals over a 10 yr period, his was the only one after which I felt worse that I did before the procedure. I'm now fully, permanently disabled per Soc Sec due to scar tissue on my spinal cord tissue, which doesn't heal b/c it is nerve tissue. Such scarring is now a known & well-documented complication of epidurals. This doctor is incompetent, a risk to your health, and should not be allowed to "practice" medicine.

The absolute worst doctor I have ever seen. He is totally rude, impolite, and uncaring. This doctor wants tests that are completely unnecessary and, frequently, expensive.

I have been a patient of Dr. Minehart's a little over a month and he has given me more relief than I've had in years. When I met with Dr. Minehart, I brought him every CT scan, MRI scan and X-ray report I have along with a 4 page Surgery/Procedure list I created. As well as a 2 page Excel spreadsheet of all the doctors I've seen since my pain started over 7 years ago. He spent 2 hours reading every single word of every report. He underlined things, he put stickies next to things for questions he had. Even though his nurses had prescriptions that needed to be signed and questions they needed answered and phone calls coming in, he sat with me and made me feel like I was his most important patient ever. Of all the doctors that I've seen, which include The Spine Institute at UCLA, The Spine Institute at Cedar-Sinai, SCOI (Southern California Orthopedic Institute), Ventura Orthopedics, among other doctors, Dr. Minehart is the only doctor that has made me feel like he really, really cares about me and wants to help me. In addition to him being so great, his staff are some of the nicest, most caring and compassionate nurses, etc. that I've met.

This is a drug doctor who forced a fibromyalgia patient onto Methadone, telling her and her five year old son that she had two months to live and if she didn't take the drug she would die. Patient followed Dr Minehart's directions but found terrible side effects so made numerous attempts for Doctor to consult in office but ignored patient in order to entertain drug reps for in-office party. When patient complained, asking Dr Minehart about his ethics, he said "we are done here" and cancelled patient without referring her elsewhere or prescribing needed medicine, but left her a warning that she will go into shock and have seizures. This is a bad doctor. Patient went to Emergency hospital care thereafter. Don't deal with Dr Minehart. He is only a Doctor Feelgood drug dealer, and if anyone questions his practice, he will make sure to end you.

I have been a patient of Dr. Miiehart's going on 20 years. He will do whatever it takes to help his patent feel better.I am still alive and walking thanks toDr.Minehart. Dr will not give up on a as long as the patient doesn't give up on themselves. His procedures work and he dies whatever it takes to help his patients get better. If a patient of does not work with the Dr. How can theye expect to get better. When Dr.Minhart is unable to help a patient with his area of expertise he in my experience will find someone who can help. Bbeing a pain pain patient myself with almost unbearable pain at times. I find that we as patients expect a magical cure or pill to fix pain instantly that's not the way it works. It takes a man like Dr. Minhart and his staff

As long as you don't question Dr Minehart's procedure happy practice he will prescribe anything you want in any amount. Often you will get a call from his office stating he wants to see you for a procedure of which the nurse has no information about and the Dr has not previously discussed with you. Be careful as he will offer procedures not regularly done at his facilities.

Very caring doctor and will take the time with you. My first visit the doc spent at least 45 minutes with me and every time since he has spent whatever time has been needed...not like most doctors these days.

Dr Minehart is the best pain management doctor I have ever seen. I was dx'd with Fibromyalgia over 15yrs ago and most of the Dr's I have been to either don't know what they are treating or will just subject to drugs that just don't work. Dr Minehart finally found the problem (which was a secondary back issue) and helped me finally get back on my feet. I think the staff go above and beyond your needs as well, even when I was uninsured and could not pay, they helped me. I really think that his attentive nature makes him my favorite Dr! After over 13 Dr's saw me before I got diagnosed and treated by Dr Minehart, I felt like there was no end to my pain. Now I have a better life and have my pain under control instead of the pain controlling me.
