Dr. Aikin is very professional and a GREAT physician.

Well it has been many years since I saw this doctor. When I was a patient of his he was practicing in Owen Sound Ontario Canada. He was once my family doctor, and was the doctor who began my care when I was pregnant with my daughter. What I know now about the circumstances of my body in the beginning of my pregnancy, was not told to me by this doctor at the time, and the records I do have are so contrived that most make no sense at all, sadly the correct information could have prevented much injury to myself and my daughter, had he been honest about the issues that where current at the time. If I had known there was significant internal damage to my reproductive and surrounding muscle tissue, and lower back, tailbone/sacrum, and my pregnancy had been treated as a high risk and I had had a C-section rather than a very complicated "normal" delivery much of the damage could have been avoided. This doctor is highly suspect in my opinion for not forwarding information in the interests of a patient, and is responsible for creating misinformation that appears to be designed to cover some really old medical history of mine that should have been shared with me the patient, rather than turned into what looks like insurance fraud at a later date. Very unimpressed with likely to recur fiction, and more unimpressed with this doctors negligence and misrepresentation. The only good thing I have to say is that he provided me with a print out of my ultrasound while pregnant, though it took 16 years for what was then an issue to be diagnosed. Nice job!

Run! It took 4 scheduled appointments to be correctly scheduled for a physical. Upon my 1st appt, which I went in to get birth control pills, Dr. Aikin spent 20 mins discussing my weight. I am 5'10" 200lbs. I am well aware that I am overweight and have no issue discussing it. I explained my diet and exercise plan, which he told me that exercise does not help you lose weight.I waited over 45 mins for my next appt-He lectured me again for 15mins about my weight-I responded that I was there for a physical and just wanted to get that done. He continued to tell me that "sometimes people do not want to hear the truth" I stated that we were probably not a good fit and I wanted to end the appt. During the exam he jammed the speculum into me with such force that I was instantly in tears. He then said, "has anyone told you that your cervix is curved?" YES, and every other Dr. has used a different size speculum to accommodate that. The pain was worse than having my cervix scraped(colposcopy).

Dr. Aikin is very caring and down to earth. He is thorough and has always been a great physician to deal with in my experience.

Terrible! Will not go back. Went in for my yearly free physical. At the end Dr. Aikin asked if there was anything else bothering me. I made the mistake of answering that my back hurts. It was a trick question. I was charged $35 co-pay for having talked about my back, was told it was no longer considered just a physical. Maybe next time Dr. Aikin when you ask a patient, let them know that if they open their mouth you will nail them for an office visit and not the yearly physical. Office staff were rude when I questioned this, nobody is in charge and I got the run around for 2 months with different answers from everyone I talked to. I dont understand how they stay in business??

Dr. Aikin has been an excellent DR. He has seen me through several operations and has been there 100%. My husband and I have been so lucky moving from another state and finding such a womderful caring Dr. & friend in Dr. Aikin. Nice to have a Dr. that Cares...

I feel very comfortable going to Dr Aikin. He doesn't lecture, but really tries to give an accurate assessment that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Dr Aikin is the best doctor I have ever been too. He is patient....he truly listens.....he really cares....and it shows!!! I trust him implicitly and wish other doctors would follow his example.
