The receptionist is unprofessional. The doctor is very nice but can't diagnose certain ailments.

Don't talk to him while he's examining you because he's very intense in his examinations, which is a good thing. One of the few dermatologists I have ever had that actually use a blow dryer to check out your scalp. I've been going to him for a long time, and I was tremendously relieved to find out he's on my new insurance plan. My only gripe is the receptionist. She's a b***h.

Had a great experience with Dr. Ratner. Seems to really know his stuff, but doesn't take himself too seriously. He was very thorough for my first appointment. Follow up appointments (to make sure medication is working) were lightning quick. Impressively short waiting time, at least in the early morning. They seem to have only a few slots set aside for new patients, so it took a while to get my first appointment -- but since then I've had no problem.

Straightforward and friendly, but willing to refer to a specialist to give best care for a carcinoma on my ear.

Dr. Ratner was very knowledgeable. The only problem is that he seemed to be overbooked and hardly spent any time with me. Leaving most everything up to his assistant.

Dr. Ratner has an amazing wealth of knowledge; his diagnosis and treatment were unbelievable accurate and effective.
