I have the great pleasure of knowing Dr. Roddy on a personal and profession association and I have recommended him to numerous people. I know that his professional attitude has been respected by numerous people over the last twenty some years. His only fault is that he may tend to care too much about the patient, which is why he moved closer to the Vancouver area (closer to the home front). I like Dr. Roddy also. He's a nice guy. But also, have found some billing and chart note discrepancies. He took credit for some exams/tests I had another Dr. perform...?? I've been going to him for some years...and I find his bedside manner charming also. He's usually very helpful! just watch what is being billed.

I have only been seeing Dr. Roddy for a year now, but I love this man. He is a very good doctor and very compassionate. He came highly recommended to me by my girlfriend who has seen him for around 15 years.

Dr.Roddy has been my doctor for more than 15 years. I was diagnosed with diabetes 10 years ago (LADA type 1). When he saw that I was willing and able to be involved in my own diabetes care, he encouraged me to do so, even when it went against standard protocol (i.e. basing insulin on carbs eaten instead of standard dosing). Using this method, my control has been way above average with an A1C averaging 6, and I have no diabetes-related complications after 10 years. Incidentally, he has moved his office from Portland to Vancouver and his phone number is now (360) 487-2727.

Dr. Roddy is a genuine caring physcian. he literally saved my life by dionosing a cancerous tumor on my lung when all i came in for was a case of congestion much like allergies. his quick thinking and response to my problem had me nsurance qualified and on an operating table in like 10 days from point of discovery.... it is almost 6 years and I am (thank G-d and Dr. Roddy ) recovered and cancer free!! I idolize that man both as a doctor and as a human being...

I've been a patient of Dr. Roddy's for the past 14 years, and I wouldn't trade him for anyone else. He's intensely interested, widely knowledgable, open and friendly, and very willing to explore new options and treatments. While his office is very busy these days, they can usually get me in to see Dr. Roddy or his assistants at short notice. More than anything else, Dr. Roddy approaches his patients with a sense of respect and partnership that makes for a very powerful, positive caring relationship. I couldn't recommend him more highly.
