Dr. Jemsek runs a tight ship - seeing as many patients as possible as we are all desperate for help. I have been undergoing treatment, and have normalized my thyroid function as the bugs are killed off. Really excited for the future. Thank God for Dr. Jemsek!

Dr. Jemsek is trying to help as many people as possible. He has staff to meet with patients, but oversees everything. I was scratched by a cat adn nearly died when I was 6. I developed epilepsy a few years later and stomch issues. I have lived with this my whole life without knowing the causal reasons for my epilepsy (Bartonella). I was then bitten by two more ticks in 2015 (didn't know what happened to me then - regular doctors had no clue - fainting, skin lesions for a year) and a lyme tick in 2016 (saw the target rash, so knew about that one). I was finally tested and shown to have Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (ah, that 2015 incident that nobody treated me for), and lyme 2016. The Bartonella was something I just recently discovered. So, now I am treating for all three. Dr. Jemsek met with me personally, and I found him very knowledgeable. He uses a combination of antibiotics and herbs to trick the bugs into coming out from their hiding places and biofilms to be killed. I was told to take probiotics and warned about herxeimers. The herxeimers was very bad, and lasted six weeks. But they keep an eye on your blood work, they answer questions within 24 hours through the portal, and I try to recognize that they can't drop everything when I have a question. I follow instructions carefully. It's only been four months, but I am sleeping better, my skin is a little better, and my joints are better. I am supposed to do this for another year. So, it's slow and steady wins the race. I have hope that I will eventually beat these bugs back to a place where my immune system can handle them. I personally know of another patient of Dr. Jemsek's who was diagnosed with MS, and found to have Lyme and treated wtih him and improved dramatically and is now in remission. So, I do my bit by researching everything, trying to eat well, and doing what he recommends - purchasing all teh supplements can be pricey, but I think doing this now will save me money down teh road.

While I was not scheduled to see Dr. Jemsek personally during my first appointment at his clinic, he, nonetheless, honored my request for a brief face-to-face visit. Coming from Raleigh, NC, I personally know a number of people who have told me that Dr. Jemsek literally gave them back their lives.

He’s a highly intelligent, street savvy idealist who, in the medical establishment, is not afraid to go “where angels fear to tread.” And his patients are better off for that mentality.

I am a patient of Dr Joseph Jemsek. I thank God for him , his knowledge and treatment and staff.. 15 years of suffering, too many doctors, medications and test to count I am now turning the corner and am having blue sky days. I am forever grateful for two friends that went before me and are now able to live again. Thank you for giving me hope in a better tomorrow.

I’m a patient of Dr. Jemsek and although I am still in treatment, he has essentially given me much of my life back. It’s a new normal, but I’m functioning almost every day of the week whereas I used the be bedridden. I am able to participate in my children’s lives again!
I’m continually impressed by Dr. Jemsek’s vast knowledge and capability. He’s also open-minded and displays grace and humility. Most importantly, he’s an effective doctor who has worked closely with me to create a comprehensive treatment regimen that’s strategic, using my genetic profile among many other variables.
Dr. Jemsek’s commitment to treat and serve marginalized patients with tick-borne illness is admiral and brave. He has faced many hardships due to Lyme being such a politicized disease but has stayed true to his commitment to his patients. He is one of the best advocates for Lyme disease patients all over the world. I’m truly grateful to be under his care.

Dr Jemsek is very knowledgeable about lyme and coinfections - and treating them. He is the best there is IMO. He is also calm, patient and very intuitive .
He has told me a few things about my reaction to meds - that I doubted and sure enough he was right!

The office staff could use some organizational skills - but they have improved lately.
The triage nurse is responding quicker to returning calls as well.
If I call I usually get a call back later that same day or the next morning.

Dr Jemsek, his PA's and support staff are incredible. Informed, compassionate and extremely bright, they handle a huge number of patients, details for each patient's personalized treatment, prescriptions and supplementation, appointments and calls every day and are still able to give each patient their full attention and guidance.

The phone messaging system is set up for maximum efficiency so patients needing questions answered will have a nurse return their call within 24-48 hrs depending on the nature of the call, and there are separate lines for most everything a person might need from the practice as well as an option to speak to someone at the front desk if none of the other options fit the need.

The PA's are brilliant and as well versed in the intricacies of Lyme disease and the many co-infections as many MD's and more so because this is their specialty. They see sufferers from all over the world and all manner of symptoms.

Adults see the PA's in Dr J's practice after their initial visit with Dr Jemsek (with Dr J's overseeing his PA's from that point on) while Dr J focuses his care on children's cases.

Dr Jemsek and his group offer cutting edge Lyme disease treatment tailored to each individual. As such, each individual must be an active participant in their own care. The patient's feedback to their provider is extremely important in crafting the proper treatment protocol and their adherence and discipline in following the protocol, diet recommendations and lifestyle changes are key to improved health and success.

I am lucky to have found Dr Jemsek's practice and the care of my PA Rachel helping me through this 6+ year nightmare.
Dr Jemsek's practice is no more expensive than other Lyme literate MD's I have received care from, but the care I have received has undoubtedly saved my life.

I cannot recommend Dr Jemsek and his group more highly. If you have not gotten the help you need for your Lyme and co-infections, I strongly suggest calling the Jemsek Clinic.

He's a good doctor but has minimal administrative skills. It reflects in his staff that handle prescriptions, necessary forms, finances, and clinical questions. It's chaos. There are extra fees + the expense of medical appointments. Greed? Desperately sick people will pay anything for help.
