Dr Engle did all three of my surgeries on L5-S1. I was a competitive fighter when I ruptured my disc in 2007. Dr Engle did the surgery. About 3 months later my pain came back. He did a follow up surgery, which was due to me not listening to his post op instructions. He told me to wait 6 months to start training again. I waited 4 months. So after the 2nd surgery I did not have ANY pain for 7 years until last Feb 2014, when my radiculopathy t=returned with a vengeance. Dr Engle also did that surgery. The reason I went back to him 3x was his bed-side manner. He remembered me 7 years and thousands of patients later. He remembered everything as if I was his next door neighbor. He is an EXCELLENT Neurosurgeon and an even BETTER HUMAN BEING!!!
