You call this medicine? Staff not helpful at all - Was bringing my wife in a wheelchair and they never said handicap ramp was in rear. Grimes yelled at my wife "are you calling me a liar?" Went on to sell his shots at $250 but no word on contents or anything.

Checked me out. Scheduled me for a spinal a half hour later; injected the stuff - and my life has been 400% better; heck probably 900%. He didn't even charge that much. This guy ROCKS!

I agree with almost all of you, and like you I have the same complaints and MORE!!! I am interested in filing a law suit against him for the treatment he performs or the lack thereof. As for the insurance, if you feel that he improperly billed your insurance.... I urge you to call your state's insurance commisioner and your insurance co. for fraud. If you are on medicare, I urge you to call. They do not take this lightly. He will have to answer to them, and then mabe he will get the picture that he can NOT toy with the lives of others in this way. My email is brook6618@yahoo.com

Doctor diagnosed the cause of my pain. No other doc had a clue. I have never had a doctor exam me to determine cause of my pain. Injections have given me back my life!

I would NOT recommend Grimes to anyone who is serious about managing pain. I had been under his care for a year. The only treatment he recommends is Prolotherapy. This treatment made me worse. My pain was significantly worse. He would not listen to anything I said, would not adjust my medication so my pain was managed. As a result, I ended up in the ER trying to get relief from serious pain. When Grimes learned of this, he turned into what I would consider the most hostile, unprofessional physician I have ever witnessed. I arrived in his office to discuss my acute pain, and for 30 minutes, Grimes literally yelled at me, accused me of violating my patient responsibility, mocked my pain, called me a liar and all of this in the office where other patients and staff were present. This dr has one thing on his mind. Treating for Prolotherapy so he can spend less than two minutes with his patients and make a killing. I would closely monitor what is billed to your insurance as well.

This experience was quite bad. Dr. Grimes pushes you in and out for shots, and leave little time to answer your questions. On top of this, the billing is skewed. For a three-minute procedure, I received a 4-page bill, filled with terms I didn't understand. When I asked Dr. Grimes about this, he told me it was the insurance companies policy. He said I should call them. I received prolotherapy, and my back received no improvement. I recommend researching other options before giving your money to these folks.

Dr. Grimes has be a life saver to me. The caudal blocks that he has given me have allowed me to get off my narcotic pain pills almost entirely!

Grimes is the second pain management doctor that I have gone to. I would not recomend this doctor to ANYONE that needs pain management. He does not understand the pain that you are having nor is he willing to prescribe anything that will help you. I know what medications work for me and I tried to explain this to dr grimes and he acted like I was an addict and refused to prescribe me the medication that works for me!!!!!!!!!!
