Dr Sheppard delivered my 2nd child. After 8 months of planning a c-section due to complications delivering my 1st child, she showed up to the hospital and then left a few minutes later and the Nurses said her plan had changed and we were going to try a Vaginal Birth. After leaving me for over 18 hours to lay there and have problems she showed back up and rushed to get him out because his heart rate had been dropping. She used Forcepts and caused my baby a brain injury, Corneal fracture to his right eye and broke both collar bones. He is now almost blind in his right eye, had seizures and a developmental delay due to this. I would NOT recommend this DR. After this, she refused to see me for my 6 week checkup and never even apologized for what she did to my child.

Yes , I waited for some time to see her. I have seen worse hours at Conway though. I love Dr. Hunter caring spirit . She is very informative. She is a great OB/GYN !!!

Hold up, now this makes no d*** sense at all. Why are some of you slandering this woman's name, character and practice? I'm going to keep it as classy as possible, because half (I said half not all) of you I know probably are from Healthy Mom's with no medical insurance, and wasn't until recently allowed to go anywhere but E.A. Conway where the wait was LITERALLY hours. Then you all want to complain about the wait, because you like everyone else picked the BEST doctor to be your doctor. Dr. Sheppard is a woman of not only great character but she genuinely cares. I would recommend Dr. Sheppard to anyone I know needing a compassionate and competent OB/GYN.

I loooooovvvvve this woman. She was an excellent doctor for me. I had a very pleasant pregnancy due to her patience and care. If I had a question...are had an answer. I now live in Texas and miss having her now that I am 9 years later having my second child. I recommended to my sister which loves her as well. Thanks Dr. Sheppard! Like someone else stated I can't believe these reviews. My only agitation I had with her office is the the wait bc of her many clients. Other than that, great experience.

Wow I'm truly shocked by some of the reviews I'm reading. Let me start off by saying this woman is truly a amazing person. She has been my doctor since I was 15 and now I'm 25. She has delivered both of my daughters. Dr. Sheppard has great bedside manners and took very good care of me. I have never once had a problem out of her. Her appointments at time could run a little late because she's at the hospital delivering a baby, but if the shoe was on the other foot you would want her there at the hospital with you. I would recommend her to anyone I know that's looking for a good OB/GYN. I think she's a amazing, thoughtful and caring doctor.

I love Dr. Sheppard. She's the best ob/gyn in town. She is the most caring physician I've ever been too. She was highly recommended to me by a former coworker's neice. I'm proud to say I was not disappointed. She delivered both of my sons one in 2011 and my youngest this yr 2013. This last pregnancy was not easy I developed hypertension. She really rstepped out of the box and showed she was there for me and my son. For that I'm forever greatful. I look forward to all my visits with her and her staff. I would definitely recommendDr. Sheppard. SAJ

This so-called doctor was horrible to me! During my first pregnancy I saw her once because I had gone to the hospital for chest pains (I have heart disease, and she was the doctor on call. I was 30 weeks pregnant, and she came in and told me I had no business being pregnant and that I should deliver by 35 weeks via c-section, but if I HAD to deliver vaginally she strongly suggested I be induced at 35 weeks, have a strong epidural, not push and let the doctor vacuum my baby out or use forceps. She also told me I should NEVER EVER get pregnant again and that I could NOT deliver in that hospital. When I spoke to my cardiologist about this, he said to disregard her comments because there was a reason she delivered babies and didn't work on hearts and that I could deliver my baby any which way I wanted. My OB simply laughed and said, "That's nonsense," when I told him what she said. I went on to have 2 healthy pregnancies, and deliver 2 healthy, full term babies. Would NEVER recommend her!!

I made an appointment with Sheppards staff only to be notified a week when I arrive that they never even recorded the appointment so I had none. I was treated as if it were my fault an told tht I could wait in a line of 17 ppl. Staff was very rude and nonchalant about their mistake. I requested a call back about some information and never received a call. Entire staff is very disorganized and dismissing.

I love, love, love, Dr. Sheppard. She is the best obgyn I have ever been too. She advised me after my first lose that I have IC. She was so caring through the whole process and she even called me personally to check on me after my miscarriage and my follow up visits.
