Creighton and he was recommended to me by several of my friends. Staying on top of my annual visits is important to me and Dr. Shehan gave me well-informed evidenced-based answers to all of the questions that I had. He is an extremely ethical physician. His nurse is also OUTSTANDING I have never felt more comfortable with a nurse in my life, her bedside manner is great and she thoroughly impressed me with her skills. You can tell that he spends much of his time researching and staying up to date on all things applicable to his patients. I appreciate the passion he has for medicine and as I move away for my last rotation I am strongly considering coming back to Omaha for my next annual visit because of the respect I have for him and how I am able to blindly trust him with zero concerns. I have recommended him to several other people and pray that I find a primary care physician half as good as him if I do end up having to go elsewhere for future appointments due to moving for rotations.

I have been with Dr. Shehan for over a decade. He is attentive, communicative, and knowledgeable. His communication skills are excellent. He's friendly but no-nonsense and gets to the point. Appointments are always as scheduled -I've never had to wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room. Previously I had dreaded Doctors appointments for many reasons. Now I know I can go, get a proper diagnosis and remedy and be on my way quickly and efficiently. He's really quite amazing.

Dr. M. Alex Shehan is a very knowledgable doctor and such good bedside manner. Always up on new research and medical information. Takes the time to anwer all questions. A pleasure to talk to and receive care from. I recommend Dr. Shehan to everyone I know.

I have finally found the best doctor anywhere!! This guy is amazing. He takes time with you,answers any questions and his medical knowledge is amazing. I use Dr. Shehan as my GP because I could not find a GP who would really listen to me. Took me about 5 doctors but finally hit the jackpot. He was recommended by a nurse who is very picky about her medical care and likes very few doctors she has seen in practice and she raved about him. I gave him a try and now my husband and my adult son also use him. Don't know how he spends time with each patient and still doesn't keep you waiting, but he manages and is #1 in my book.

First and formost,he does two things, he listens and spends time with you. I have always bristled when I spend more time with my doctor's nurse than with the doctor.

By far, the BEST Physicain and Team I have ever had. Can get in for emergencies immediately. Access through Doctor's Nurse is immediate for consult and relay of Doctor's orders. Dr. Shehan and Staff are an excellent example of American Family Medicine at its' very Best. I feel VERY fortunate to count myself among his patients. I would recommend this Physician and Staff to anyone, without hesitation or reservation.
